As an aside to this, I really like the idea of conflict quests as a sort of indirect PvP mechanic. More of those are good, admin who are reading this. I'd prefer them to have short effects, or just one off things in the style of Project Crucible or …
Rather than a hard time limit, I'd go with weakening the effect over time or making the quest get easier over time. Having them just disappear suddenly after X days seems kind of anticlimactic.
You know what would be useful for this, now that @Isune mentions it? A list of which gods are open to OOC messages for that sort of things, and which would prefer w…
I'm just going to list the various excuses I've used/considered using for this, although I would also like that feature. More than one pen name, please, so I can use it to attribute things to various historical figures.
Remember how @Daraius raved like two weeks ago about Hallifax having both most scholarly and most literary, and then it was pointed out that we couldn't really ra…
Didn't have the filler for it to be that long, though. Sadly. I can have a new masterpiece when I write a feghoot that wasn't concocted in less than an hour after the last sentence occurred to me.
Quettle interactions are the best interactions I've had. I don't know if its you or someone else who animates him, but he's not just good because he's a good conversationalist (although he is) or because I'm a lobo fanboy (I'm really not.)
I like the history that's tied to things over than Elder/Vernal/Taint wars. Vernals are my favorite of those three, but Nature War and other Imperialish history trumps them hard for me. So Xeeth is like the best thing ever.
Org specific warrior specs would be cool for uniting guild imagery with mechanics. The big one I can think of here would be a foot halberd spec for the Sentinels so they can actually use their iconic arms.
If they wanted to go the quest route and not tie it to the epic, they could pick any with related fluff. One of the undervault quests if Keph/Ilith influenced or the Tosha quest if we get our dream of lobomonks. Could make a quest related NPC the tu…
Mount and Blade Warband with the Gekokujo mod. Removing shields and couched lances makes for a great change in battle dynamics, and the new maps for sieges are a huge improvement.
Also some DDO. On Sarlona, if any of you people play it.<…
One caveat on what Ssaliss said. Hallifax is probably the most active culture org, if you're one of the handful of people who is into library and stage things.
