I have not had this specific problem, but since you mentioned using a word document I'm going to give my standard advice. Use Notepad, do everything in text files. This will usually fix most problems.

The TATTOOS command for it told me that I couldn't because it was covered. If there's a different command that can accomplish that, I don't know it.

Or if they want it to cost comms, turn splendours/greatrobes into Splendourpatch and Greatnesspatch, each costing X commodities and making a thing you can sew onto anything to turn them into splendours/greatrobes.

I wish we could SEW X AS SPLENDOUR/GREATROBE and be able to walk around in a splendour toga. I don't see much of a reason to restrict it to just robes, suits, and gowns.

Personally, I've always argued in favor of hooking up a few regeneration gems, harvesting his fat as it regenerates, and rendering it down into oil for power. But that's just me.

Sword would fit Hallifax just fine. One suit for each of the major castes (Artists, Scientists, Soldiers, Bureaucracy) and pretend that the tiny merchant caste doesn't exist and that the laborers are too low status to get a suit to themselves.
