Sorry, you're telling Serens what the themes of their org are?
You're seemingly suggesting that we should consider building our synergy in line with the key theme of one of our guilds without any consideration for the other…
Except that is something entirely within the affliction system and it's been pointed out that effective synergies work outside of it. We also already have significant concepts along the themes of the fae, ancestors, seasons, and so on already …
*shrug* The concept that was tossed around (and may be in the works already) was that HS would rework allergies into a stacking debuff on their targets which thematically represented the forest itself becoming more and more enraged at the victim for…

Er no, I was an MD for that. A gaudiguch envoy pushed that MD had to be nerfed into the ground before they could broaden their scope beyond sleeplock which lead to self-nerfs. (it was particularly notable because I'd just been getting…
From what I’ve been told from envoys at the time, the melder overhaul was actually a full overhaul, in part because Hartstone and Blacktalon druidry will be completely separated with sap being removed
As mentioned in the parent thread. There may or may not be some stuff coming for Serens with the melded overhaul that could have a pretty big impact on the discussion.
I don't know if it's coming or not, but one of the suggestions for the Hartstone in the melder rework was to change allergies into a mechanic themed on the forest getting increasingly angry with the target to some effect.
If we get 2 of each rift type every weave, those last for an hour and harvest time is 5 minutes. That would mean a weekly maximum of 84 anomalies for ea…

You mean the system that was eventually removed? Yes.
Creating a system where people need to work and can then just rest on their laurels as long as they get a bare minimum for maintenance is one where eventually everyone w…

You've quoted your post not someone asking you to do what you're saying they have. Theme is not the mechanics a concept already utilises, the theme of nature is nature.

But it exists and the demand is to change the game to significantly favour one side of the argument rather than figuring out something the strikes a balance between the interests of both side.

I wouldn't think it's okay to kill leprechauns for the quest and see nothing wrong with an org reacting appropriately IC to something they find objectionable? Especially given there's another option available
You realise the irony of this statement right? Like, this whole thing started because someone was whining that they wanted to do these contentious quests but they could be caught for it, so they were demandin…

I mean, given Maeve is connected deeply to every single fae, it's reasonable to expect she'd notice a fae dying violently, so the question isn't relevant.

By the same logic it is more than fair for the people who follow Mother Moon to invoke Her aspects about shining light to uncover that which is hidden in darkness to negate your stealth.

I mean, from memory killing Rynak and Kravch is part of the opposing sides quest in Verasavir, like all "Important mobs" they get better later. So why can't I just rock up to one and be like "Hey, do you remember who killed you last?"…

There really isn't shifting goal posts, demesnes only came up because of the demand that orgs use melds to watch over all the relevant areas and it was responded to.
As far as there being "a time when players stood guard." …
Like... what you want us to go around and question the denizens that would logically be witnesses "Oh hey, did you see someone wandering through here with a sack of fae corpses?"

I feel like you're a bit stuck on how useful the power would be to you personally. The other capstones seem generally useful to everyone as opposed to having an ability that's potentially only useful to one trade that it seems likely …
Alternative, you could also do something more guild focused.
The first time any guild achieves a capstone it enables them to submit a guild request to have a thematically appropriate effect available whenever they have that capstone acti…
If the suggested use case for the power is so people can go strip harvest entire zones and then "fix it" that encourages a type of behaviour that ignores the negative reinforcement current mechanisms provide.<…

It's your own words really, if it's not really useful to communes then that means communes realistically only have three options which then fill all of their slots.
