It's a huge issue. Sometimes you can catch em with p5, but if they're on the ball and don't upkeep earwort all the time, just when they need to run, it's pretty much impossible for you to kill them. Basically just put up Octave, stick like a rock to…
I wouldn't rely on Soulless. You pretty much just hope your opponent makes a mistake to land it. Dchord is what you want, and if your magic damage is decent, dchord->minorsixth will kill.

It was discussed changing Viscanti away from asthma IIRC (even before monk overhaul), but it was decided to keep it and just nerf the damage. I'm still in support of changing it, though.
Skewer is much easier to parry against. I don't think Execute is good because it has no affliction requirement, I think it's good because it's on three bodyparts. And Maul is good because it's on four, even if it requires more total wounds.
So I'm thinking right now to make all damage effects and forced movement be blocked, and make sure movement hinder and general hinder not be blocked. We could go even further and have all the misc affliction effects be blocked as well.
I think Skewer is fine. It's easy enough to parry two bodyparts. I consider Maul to be a stronger instakill due to having four bodyparts to build on. Similarly, Execute with three is easier to achieve than Skewer. I think the difficulty should large…
So I've decided to go ahead with a special report over using normal reports. This way we can test and address multiple things at once, especially with regards to 1hers. This also gives the opportunity for more feedback from everyone when it's starte…
So, I was looking at what is and isn't blocked by protection. I think we should go over what sorts of effects we want blocked and what we don't. I've decided to do the special report for Warriors (more on that in
the relevant thread), so that …
I also highly support the concurrent cure solution. I think the cure delay on paralysis is the best part of it, and I wish more afflictions were on a delay. With a delay, it allows things to be useful while not necessarily needing an overwhelming am…
When overhaul Warriors were first released, we saw a lot of BC, but they got a bit of a nerf, other specs got their release issues sorted out and people simply learned how to use and counter Warriors (notably better parry shuts down BC), so they fel…
I think right now the instakill requirements are mostly fine, and diminishing returns if done right will solve issues with them being achieved too quickly. Potentially though, with the 1her kills requiring less wounds, we could look into adding more…

I think they need a good level of tankiness in order to survive long enough to keep up the pressure. Obviously it can go too far, and it needs to be balanced with the better offense I'm hoping to get for them.

If you're talking about what I think (with the wand of illusions), then no shrubbing IIRC, but it did get nerfed. I'm pretty sure systems could've adapted to that with a little work, though.
More cheese: Using a focus mind illusion paired with TP's ministun to fool systems into thinking they cured recklessness. Triggering aeonfield dropping (where they'll be half ego) to Mindburst. A really gimmicky Timequake setup that o…
Not my cheesiest, but one I like: I was on Facility defiling a Terentia shrine when Kelly came up to attack me. I spammed a web illusion on her so she was perma off balance while I built vessels into Heartburst.

Soulless really shouldn't be viable if the target knows what to do, unless they get rng'd out by carcer or foresight. Meteor and Cauterize works, though.
So I was around (though not the envoy) when the kethering rubies report was made. The idea was to remove the running requirement to remove rubies and replace it with something with more of a cost, but could still be outpaced in applying rubies. We w…
