I don't know why you think it doesn't have this, but it certainly does have the 'native configurable capacity' to do this automatically. You just need to tie to the 'm&m got aff' and 'm&m lost aff' even…The best way to set up m&m is to have slowcuring in general optimized for aeon curing. Aeon is far more common than sap.
