I was always a good typist. But playing Lusternia has turned me into a far better one, to the point that people watch me type and think I'm some sort of freak for being able to type so quickly.
I always enjoy the initial look of awe on student's faces when I first type in their presence, especially if I'm typing while making eye contact with them. It's a fun hat trick.
I have shocked tons of people in my post secondary degree programs, the amount I could type while watching the professor, how I could talk to someone and still keep fairly on topic with my typing, etc. I got asked for notes a lot in university.
Avurekhos says, "Dylara's a PvP menace in my eyes, totes rekting face."
The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.
I first started playing IRE games when I was in middle school, still learning how to type without looking at the keyboard. Having to type out EVERYTHING in game, quickly, in order to keep a conversation going has definitely helped with my typing speed. If I push myself, I can type at about 100wpm. A far cry from the lightning fingers that others have here, but it's good enough for me!
I also became interested in programming after digging through some combat systems that folks have made over the years. It was definitely the epoch for me getting my computer science degree.
My IC ability to chop down trees in 1 - 2 swings was born of the fact I am Canadian and we are naturally born lumberjacks.
We also build wicked Snowmen.

I design a lot of designing in-game because I am incredibly creative IRL. I've definitely designed things IG that I've seen/eaten/etc OOCly.
But I haven't really picked up any skills IRL for IC reasons, except for studying lesson plans and curriculum of actual teachers in order to analyze current guild progression.
Flames erupt from the caldera below as a distorted voice echoes, "Their spirit must be broken if they wish to be reborn as true warriors."

Tonight amidst the mountaintops
And endless starless night
Singing how the wind was lost
Before an earthly flight
