@Tacita just sent me the perfect gift and the sweetest letter to go with it!

You read what is written on barely illuminated indigo stationery:
    My Star-eyed friend,

Of late my muse has been striking me in reflection of those around me.

This platter came to my mind with you as the inspiration; I hope that
you find it a fitting and honourable representation of that which is
    most important to you.

I fear that much has happened to you in these past decades, and that it
has been trying. Let this gift, freely given, remind you that your
unique and precious nature is itself a gift to all those who meet you.

    Fondly,

    Tacita

Barely illuminated indigo stationery is holding:
"package220301"                         a perfect picnic package (modular origami)

    1 items found.

This simple origami package consists of a sturdy paper cube that can be
opened with minimal effort. On either side of the cube is a handle,
making it easy to heft the package once it is filled with food.
It has 64 months of usefulness left.

    It weighs 1 ounce(s).

The beauteous craftsmanship of Tacita An'Ryshe radiates throughout it.
It is folded from vellum into a modular origami.
It is closed and you can not see inside of it.

It has the following aliases: package, origami, modularorigami.

A glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes falls out of a perfect picnic package and into your hands.
A glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes falls out of a perfect picnic package and into your hands.
A glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes falls out of a perfect picnic package and into your hands.
A glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes falls out of a perfect picnic package and into your hands.
A glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes falls out of a perfect picnic package and into your hands.
A perfect picnic package flutters apart in wisps of vellum as the last of its contents spill into your hands.

Each of the twice-cooked potatoes placed carefully on this platter have
been intricately carved into the shape of a rose. Made by a single
slice, the petal-like folds of the potato spiral out and have curled
into impressively realistic shapes. Their golden surface darkens at the
tips, and glisten with a liberal application of melted butter. The
potatoes have been arranged neatly upon a layer of raw baby spinach,
sliced tomatoes and lightly grilled slices of cheese thick enough to
    have retained their shape.

It has 12 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 1 pounds and 14 ounce(s).

The beauteous craftsmanship of Tacita An'Ryshe radiates throughout it.
It has the following aliases: platter.

You put your nose over a glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes and inhale.
Bringing the platter to your nose, you inhale the rich aroma of garlic butter and the savoury scent of fried potato.
You tentatively stick out your tongue and lick a glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes.
You reach for a stray scrap of potato petal and crunch down on it pleasingly, getting a taste for its buttery and salty goodness.

You consume a glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes leisurely, enjoying every bite.
Intrigued by the textures of the rose-shaped potatoes, you reach out and
select one from its salad bed. The first bite reveals that the roses
have been deep-fried, for the crunch is satisfying, the soft centre
salty and delicious. Halfway through chewing the potato the butter hits
you, rich with garlic and making your taste buds sing. As soon as it is
gone you reach back for another, until the plate is cleared of all but a
    single scrap of baby spinach.

I had to post this because omg look it's a heart, it formatted better in the game.

You read what is written on a heart shaped sheet of red stationery:
[Little, terribly-drawn, caricaturised pictures of what might be
Selenity, Lynnie, and bunnies adorn the top and sides of the heart
stationery. Selenity's handwriting proves to be chicken-scratch, though
    still mostly legible.]

Hi, Lynnie-Bear!         Now it's my turn
to send the letter.     Hope your month was
full of laughter, joy,  and excitement! Wish I
could have see gotten to spend time with you, but
sometimes it will just happen that we don't wake at
the same time. I spent my month relaxing the best I
could. Was so nice to wake up to the flowers that
you left for me. Try not to become broke buying
me gifts. I am just as happy with you telling
me that you like me, really! I look forward
to seeing you soon. I hope you like this
heart shaped letter. It was really fun
to doodle on, but doesn't leave much
room for writing. What do you want
to do next time we meet again? I
cannot wait to hear your voice
and see you once more, cutie
bear! Let me know what you
                      think about from time to
                       time too, please. I am
                        eager to learn all I
                         can about you. Try
                          to keep in touch
                           won't you? See
                            you soon! I
                             like you!
                              Kisses,
                               Hugs,

You read what is written on stationery adorned with bluebell flowers:

    Dear Pheebe,

I've been thinking long and hard about your comment that my mind is 'clouded' - not because I vehemently oppose being told so, but because I wonder where the comment came from. What leads someone to declare a mental state or lack of understanding after one single mildly antagonistic meeting? Who is Pheebe?

Over your undeath, I could sense the touch of the Forbidden about you when we met. That is possibly the source of my mistrust: despite your own determined sense of morality, I've never heard of people holding to His teachings claiming any sort of guiding, social righteousness. Then again, it's entirely possible that, despite your blue-flamed pentagrams and the absence of warmth in your actions, you are not aligned overly closely to Him and I am being unfair.

I myself do know there are many paths to enlightenment, and while I hope to guide as many as I can to the teachings of my most Serene Lady, not everyone's path will lead to Her. And She is not a selfish Goddess who demands the worship of the Basin in its entirety; does your Lord demand such?

Did your statement come from a belief that those who worship Others besides your Lord are ignorant and misled? Or was it my suspicious comportment which gave you the impression? I can weigh and consider both options and any third which comes to mind, but I shall never know for certain without asking you!

[The contents of this letter are surrounded by doodles - doodles of sunlight, of flowers, of eyes, of butterflies. Every letter contained within is carefully composed, too, as if much time and trouble has been given to this note despite the idle whimsy blossoming around the words.]

    @Gurashi,

I don't understand your letter. If all that "no mercy" was is mercilessness toward your enemies, the Serenwilde would be the very same. The wolf doesn't think twice before tearing out the throat of someone who threatens their pack or home - the vixen will defend her family with all her fury and might.

Yet the Forests are not the same at all.

What is it which causes the fae to tremble when I speak to them, and they ask me to protect them from Mother Night's wrath? They have done nothing to hurt the Glomdoring.

Why must they be shackled in shadow to willingly answer Mother Night's call?

Why did Shashi have to die?

I believe your letter, but I don't understand it. Are they lying to you? Are you not telling me something?

Please, Gurashi: even from here, I can see how your colors shine within you. Please don't let Mother Night bind you in darkness and smother your light.

    Lief

I know it was put in a log, but it deserves it's own post. I did some shenanigans on Maylea's godrealm way back when I was a wee novice and got a reply from @Lief that gave me the shooks. I loved it, especially as someone who is very into the RP thing! More letters to come, I'm sure!  <3

    "Little one,

I see you are a seed just beginning to sprout.

Your message has been duly noted and received. What a creative imagining
for a menacing flower, and though I find the subject pitiable, the
portrait contained within has certainly been masterfully painted.

We paint not for the sake of painting, but to connect with others. We
paint to fill an intrinsic need for Communion between our souls and the
souls around us. In doing this, we hope to Express some small portion of
our selves and the truths we nurture within, hidden from view.

You, Esei of the Ascending Dusk, have successfully expressed your
connection to the Silent Lord. Your paper flower mimics the snapdragon
which had pierced His Divine flesh, though its appearance has been
twisted - as all things wyrden must be. Your sketch shows your desire to
protect and defend Him. In silence you laid this blossom down near the
very stone once used to atone for someone's unwitting manipulation at
the Silent Lord's hands, and just as the stone can never be moved, so too have you enchanted your
    flower.

In silence you placed this message, and yet it screams as
loudly as a crow's raucous caw.

In exchange, I give to you an offering in kind. I wonder whether you
will hear the message over the din of your wyrden woods."

@Esei I don't know if you remember which painting you had put in that particular wyrden blossom origami, but it was a sketch of one of the Glomdoring guards - a shadowlord widowrider or something I think?

Can I post paintings here? I'll take that as a yes.

Crude and childish strokes of paint mark this painting as the work of a
beginner. A tall figure stands at the centre of the illustration,
possessing wavy dark hair and gaunt features. A pale blue aura surrounds
His form, identifying Him as the Elder God, Raezon. Striking blue eyes
gaze sternly down from His face, towards the cowering images of a
faeling, a trill, and a mugwump, illustrated in rudimentary strokes in
varying shades of blue, red and gold. The Divine's lips are pursed to
nothing more than a severe slash, and a speech bubble is drawn near His
head, inscribed with the words, "Do your homework!". A curving signature
in black ink marks the bottom right corner of the painting.

I let the AI ghostwrite one of Dar's love letters again and things got quite saucy.

    My love,

I have been blessed in every moment, whether we are together or apart, by your company, your
letters, even my own fond memories. A dear friend with whom I was not as close as I wish we were,
and yet through whom I have felt the closest of all.

For more than sixty years your gentle presence has filled me with the gift of love. It has filled my
heart with so many joys, I do not know
     how to express them all.

I know that you are more precious to me than all the secrets in my heart. I feel my redemption is
imminent. I feel that my promises to you must be kept. Your presence is not something that I will
have to search for. I am excited to call you to my bedside.

Faithfully yours in love and service,
    ~ D

I didn't read your introduction to that, and was nodding along as I read... and then thought to myself, redemption?

And then had to scroll back up for context when I got to that last sentence.

I have so many questions but the first one is, where did you find this AI? And second, have they been writing all Dar’s letters all this time?
    Daraius said:
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."

"I feel my redemption is imminent," is the dirtiest thing I can imagine Daraius saying.

But rest easy, Sylandra. None of Dar's main timeline letters are AI generated. I only consult the machine when I want to glimpse alternate realities.

Why does Raezon remind me of Snape?
Her voice firm and commanding, Terentia, the Even Bladed says to you, "You have kept your oath to Me, Parhelion. You have sworn to maintain Justice in these troubled times."

Yet if a boon be granted me, unworthy as I am, let it be for a steady hand with a clear eye and a fury most inflaming.

this was the response to my suggestion of 'peep chili dwarven wrestling':

    Dear Sir,

We wish to inform you that the dish known commonly as "peep chili" has
been added to the list of items banned from bringing onto the premises
of the chateau. We have received a few too many peep chili-related
requests, bribes, and threats. As such, the wrestling match will involve
    an overabundance of oil instead.

PS. Please do not inquire as to the origin of the oil. We assure you it
    is not peep-pressed oil.

    Sincerely,

You read what is written on a ritzy sheet of gold-touched stationery:
    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your exciting suggestions. We have already ordered extra
bottles of oil to ensure that the ring becomes an oily swimming pool. We
have also made an order with a florist to see what exciting flowers we
can put on display this time.

Unfortunately, we are unsure which, if any, of the other suggestions we
will be able to implement. We are particularly pleased with a handful of
them and, Challengers willing, we will definitely implement them at some
    point.

    Sincerely,
    Avechna's Peak Merchants' Coterie

Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
