Lusternians come and go. Some of us leave more of an impact than others.
In my case,
@Lendren and
@Nejii are standouts as top-of-the-line, everything we wanted Serenwilde to be. Nominations for Ascendant, if it weren't all about combat. And they left a lasting impact, and legacy.
How about you, and why?
EDIT - People have been referring to these players as "legends" which flows better than the previous title.
Mayor Steingrim, the Grand Schema says to you, "Well, as I recall you kinda leave a mark whereever you go."

Likewise for @Shric and @Fania in Celest. @Inagin certainly had an impact, and won't soon be forgotten, as did @Nydekion and @Malicia.
@Meliana is someone one of my early alts ADORED, but I don't know if she qualifies.
If I drop those and focus on people I barely interacted with but still stick to memory, I got a few to mention.
First would be @Weepaw - while I think most have forgotten by now, he was an early character with a particular schtick/characteristic that actually caught on and people played along with at least in part. Didn't seem to get as much heat/irritation for this as other later players, and I'm not sure if it's just because of the age he was from or it he just clicked at the time.
The other two would be @Richter and @Exarius, for being two individuals that had some other idea for what they wanted from the game outside of the core orgs and did their damnedest to pursue it. Probably the most successful "rogue" characters we've had, and Exarius even bears the honour of being the first Harmony Seal Holder. Pretty sure he's still the only (and liable to remain the only) seal holder who was unaligned when he claimed it.
In that vein, @Amarysse also occupies a special place in my memory, simply because she was such a genuinely new player when she won the Beauty Seal in that same first year (first ascension really was special imo), and handled all the stupid drama that surrounded her victory with such poise.
Sure I missed some, but those were the 'Legends' in my formative years.
The Good
@Emar, Whose Words Still Echo
@Crek, a Giant of Crow
@Celina, of Blaze and Glory
The Bad
@Avurekhos, Avatar of Ravenous Antlers
@Ciaran, Unseen, Yet Felt
@Falmiis, Freezing Mist in the Prison
And... (sorry, but she's famous) The Ugly
@Fralunah, the Hornet Unrelenting
Honestly, of this list, Emar gets top spot purely because Versa never once met him. Literally, a legend.
On an old Glom character I had that I no longer remember the name of, @Ried
RP legends: Nariah, Astraea, Rancoura, Emar, Nyir, Lavinyah, Sthai, Talan, FAAAAAIIIIN, Viravain
Also: Vathael (rip), Forren (wish we had got along better), Talkan (surprisingly cool to work alongside if he doesn't know you're Shaddus), Aison (also amazingly cool period), Talan (miss you), Altrea (miss your tough love), Vivet ( astoundingly helpful and charitable to a fault).
Also legends in their own way: Terentia, Fain, Eventru, Crumkane, and Thax.
If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?
@Shayle @Xenthos @Josun were already legendary when I was running around in Glomdoring, and I was fortunate to see @Nirrti become one while I was there. At this point, though, I think Xenthos is actually hardcoded into the game. Nobody's been able to prove to me that he's not!
Mag had a lot of legends when it came to combat... @Murphy @Lyco @Daevos @Kaervas , just to name a few. I'll always remember Murphy randomly punching me in the mountains and yelling at me to fight him - The guy really enjoyed fighting.
There are the infamous legends as well, though... @Narsrim @Munsia @Yrael . It was Yrael, right, who pioneered thievery when the game was fresh? He's the reason I remember being taught to always have my gold in my pack, or to upkeep Selfishness. Narsrim was the stuff fear was made of when I was in Glomdoring. Fun times.
There are so many more, but at this point I'd just be tagging people left and right for old time's sake.
For me, the people who introduced me to RP and I feel really influenced me (and still do): Nariah, Delphas, Taevi, Revan (He was a giant butt, but he did teach me a lot), Xiran, Rattusk, Sotsepmet. Other old people that both scared and amazed me: Destridas, Romero, Ixion, Fillin, Esano. Special shout out to Morgfyre for being the best god a girl could ever worship, closely followed by Drocilla, Zvoltz and Yomoigu for their interactions and character building moments with Lavinya.
Two other names that stand out for me from when I was a noob (well, more noobly than currently) are Chade and Persayis.
Xiran had a small interaction with Diamante which did help shape some of her thoughts.

This thread is about the best Lusternia has ever seen, and if you see it now, then why not?
