Highlight for me was Ilistala chirping at Gurashi like she was trying to say the same thing the songbird said. Everything else is amazing in this story too, but that was such a sweet little touch in Gurashi's fear and worry.

Just the idea that Gysolem is so tainted and so ENTHUSED with the taint, that his offspring would be viscanti is both hilarious and heart-warming.

Less heartwarming is possibly the implication that any who aren't need to be dealt with the Spartan way.

Can we keep Akuuko please

Such a beautiful story to watch from afar and catch glimpses from the shadows of each character's growth as time went on.
Most of all, it was a true joy to see Aleyah flourish IC as she involved herself in roleplay with Lady Viravain, Akuuko & the commune.
