Unexpectedly good vet visit. My wife and I thought that our dog was going to die. We were pretty sure. But she's up, walking, and has a chance of recovery. I know that she's very old, and she still has problems. We're going to lose her soon. But she isn't gone yet and that is wonderful.

It also spurred me to do a bunch of related bug fixes to some of the gender code I hadn't retrofitted with our non-binary code in Imperian which have been bothering me since we put it in. It's basically a win for everyone.

Cis male reporting in to agree that this is a beautiful addition. It's really heartening to see what must be a hellish amount of coding resources dedicated to something as small (and huge!) as pronouns, for the sake of inclusivity.

My rave is for all of these incredible player events - not just for the wonderful players who have organised them, but how much everyone attending has fully thrown themselves into them. (There's nothing worse than organising something and having people stand around awkwardly!)
Watching your characters develop and interact with each other and further your own stories gives all of us in the Havens life, and makes it so much easier for us to hook into both what you're doing and what you want us to do. That's true whether it's a big event like this or smaller scenes.

We've got a nice speech planned, gonna wing the food/beg @Jolanthe for help again, and invite the whole Basin over, so everyone get your pearls emote ready for your enemies. I promise we I won't be burning down the festival grounds with everyone there, too.
