Forgot about this earlier, but I'm very used to missing out on flares/revolts and having those occur while I'm at work. This is now the third revolt in a row that's happened right when I've time for it, so that's pretty nice for a change of pace too.

Flexed back into Serenguard/forging to see the election hadn't been killed and was still going.
So apparently that's a chain of events that's totally kosher. Useful to keep in mind for future reference.

@Sylandra is awesome for her amazing stage stuff finally being the impetus I needed to sit through one and read for almost an ENTIRE HOUR without going afk. That is some dedication. Alex is highly hopeful that one day in the next century or two, she might even get to meet this illustrious grandmother.
