    Am I missing something here? Sure, I pulled a fair few in, but I simply never regained eq there, at all.

    EQ-loss-stacking has always worked that way.  That's why you keep dying to them at the archway, it is suicide to have more than 2 mobs that have an off-eq attack attacking you at the same time.

    I've been in situations where I've been off-EQ for 8+ minutes, just tanking it but unable to do anything at all.

    Wow, yeah. That stacking really hurts. I'm used to it from the godrealm mobs but those daughters seem far worse. :(
