Gonna give this another shot and try to get an Auckland gathering going for the Lusternians residing in the birthplace of the Galactic Empire >_>

I'm quite open with regards to a potential date, but I'd prefer it to be on a Sunday if at all possible, I'm thinking early-to-mid January will be a good time, gives people roughly a months notice.

I'm also quite flexible with what we can do, but here's a few suggestions:

a) Go to Rainbows End for the day

b) Go to Paradice Ice Skating in the evening

c) Go to Snowplanet (even though I'm terrible at skiing =p)

d) Go to Waiwera Hotpools for the day (lovely place and costs $26 for the entire day)

If anyone in other parts of NZ wants to travel up for the gathering, I'll help track down some potential travel options (Air NZ does late night flights for $39, Nakedbus fares start from just $1, but those fares sell out VERY fast, more realistically, you're looking at $20-$25 each way)

I've heard of a few people, I know a couple of people live in the Wellington and Christchurch regions and know of one other person that lives in the Auckland region, though I have not had a chance to meet them.
