Dancing while Waiting for the Full Moon

SelenitySelenity My first MC to stay in Serenwilde
A small log. I was bored waiting for the full moon (I waiting literally for hours for it), so I decided Selenity would have one of her moments. And she did. Of course I didn't expect anyone to come by.

Atop the Seren Greenhouse.
Superimposed over this location, an ethereal forest reaches up to the sky.
Pushing up through the soil is a moonglory plant, displaying a delicate flower.
Shrouded by an aura of mist and modulating stars, a winged unicorn stands here
with a serene countenance.
You see a single exit leading down.

Continuing the hunt for his dark mate, Father Sun presses forward in his journey,
lowering himself in the sky yet still casting even, full light upon the land.

Her movements indicate some unheard rhythm she is clearly grooving out to.
You have emoted: Selenity takes two steps to the left, her arms raised, one hand
holding her lyre. Her movements indicate some unheard rhythm she is clearly
grooving out to.

A young pony with a bushy tail trots gracefully in from the down.
With a soft flutter of wings, a screech owl flies in from the down.

Cadwyn curtseys gracefully.

You have emoted: Nodding her head as she goes, Selenity Siar'luin takes two
steps to the right, swaying her hips back and forth. She doesn't seem to notice
Cadwyn as she dances about.

Caesure Cadwyn, the Thoughtful says, "Still waiting?"

Cadwyn peers at an elegant lunar watch unscrupulously.

You have emoted: Selenity Siar'luin continues to move to the unheard beat. She
hits the moonbeams of her lyre as if they may actually be solid. The sound they
produce is akin to that of a tambourine. She doesn't appear to hear Cadwyn and
she is lost to some rhythm.

Cadwyn frowns slightly, and watches you as you dance.

You have emoted: Selenity continues to hit her lyre like a tambourine, the flow
her movements combined with the sound of her instrument provoking images within
the mind of some sort of rainfall. She spins in a circle as she dances, the
sound of her feet as she moves sounding almost like... hooves. Her eyes are
closed, and she is clearly not mentally present at the moment.

Cadwyn self-consciously looks at her own feet, then up at you dancing.

As the sun passes below the horizon's edge, Mother Night unveils her terrible,
shadowy beauty, spreading darkness across the land.

You have emoted: Selenity continues dancing about, tossing her head side to side
as she plays her lyre-tambourine. But now, as her long pigtails whip and sway
about, she sneaks in a few notes. The notes are loud, and drift off to fade, but
before they can, she hits her tambourine once. It sounds like a musical arrow
that is being fired and striking its target. A flurry of such notes are snuck in
with the lyre-hits.

Across the heavens, the stars and moon challenge night's dark reign, revealing
familiar constellations that tell the tales of myth and legend.

Cadwyn watches you, spellbound by her graceful dancing.

You have emoted: Selenity's plucking slows greatly to being nonexistant once
more. She begins to slow her dancing movements, and her hitting of the lyre
takes on only the sound of the pitter pattering of rain. Her movements become
instead slow, purposeful spins, pigtails flowing and skirt billowing behind her.
Her footwork is light, as if she may not ever actually touch the ground.

You have emoted: Selenity comes into her final turn and spin, slowly stopping
her motions on the lyre. Arms falling to her sides, her gaze lifts skyward, the
Moon's changes reflecting in her crystal blue eyes.

Cadwyn blinks suddenly, glancing at her watch.

Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land
in utter darkness.
It is now the 19th of Kiani, 401 years after the Coming of Estarra.

The flower of a moonglory plant shimmers and wilts, but from the center of the
blossom a round fruit expands, as though filling with the light of the moon.
A shaft of moonlight shines down from the heavens and bathes the Ellindel
Arboretum in soft light.
