I just want to smoke my pipe...

I'd like to create some kind of timer, trigger, something to make it so I smoke my pipe before it goes out again. My character is an addict and loves to smoke. I'd like him to always be puffing away.

Problem is, I know nothing at all about Mudlet or Lua and don't even know where to start.

If you take the time to help, please explain any code you might post in here, so I can start to accumulate some knowledge. Thank you.

Basic instructions from a horrible coder:

Go to timers in mudlet.

Make a timer named FauxTwinny

Change the timer to be every...I dunno. Minute or so.

At the bottom, use something like this:

sendAll ("Light pipes", "smoke #")

Where # is your pipe number.

Thank you very much. I made a few modifications for my RP, and that did it.

I'm guessing the " marks are to get it to type directly what you have between them. And sendAll is just a command to send everything that follows.

Why would you name it "fauxtwinny"?
