What Does Your Character Sound Like?

  • PhoebusPhoebus tu fui, ego eris. Circumstances
    Hmm, Phoebus' custom beast Fata Morgana sounds sort of like a bored LeBlanc, but oscillating and reverb-y. Because, well, she's a freaky ghostmist and that's practically required.

    "Lying is, like, 95% of what I do." Yep, sounds right.
  • So this probably comes as no surprise, but generally Alary sounds like Black Widow from Avengers Assemble. But less sultry and more like a giant derp. I'll add a clip later.
    Mysrai, the Beckoner Beyond the Maze intones, "Continue to manifest the paradigm of working, My Alary."
    The Divine voice of Camus the Cinderfly echoes in your head, "Thank you, once-body. I am happy that I fell into that eye."

    Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

  • Female Alary sounds like the redhead, Natasha. The vocalizations change as she race changes, but the basic structure of her voice stays the same. Male Natasha sounds a lot like Clint Barton, the dude with the box from that show. Example:

    The Divine voice of Ianir the Anomaly echoes in your head, "You are a ray of sunshine in a sea of
    depression. I just wanted you to know that."
  • RancouraRancoura the Last Nightwreathed Queen Canada
    If @Crek screamed as much as that while Rancoura's around he'd be getting slapped. All day.

    Tonight amidst the mountaintops
    And endless starless night
    Singing how the wind was lost
    Before an earthly flight

  • @Everiine yep. Elrond fits.
    is dead like the dodo
  • Stratas said:
    I've always pictured Stratas as a crooner, soulfully singing his way through the Great Wyrden Songbook and doing the Glomdoring standards in all the classy nightclubs. Something like Ol' Blue Eyes maybe.Or maybe someone more contemporary, like Chris Isaak.

    When he was a Minstrel, of course, he had a slightly inebriated twang to his voice, like Dean Martin.

    Heart eyes. I love Wicked Games
    The apple is cold, crisp, and sour as the juices fill your mouth. As you consume the fruit, you glimpse, for a moment, a massive, shadowy figure, Her snow-white hair framing a perfect, icy-eyed visage. Beneath you, a vast, perfect web of silken strands lies - and, for a moment, you realize that you too are part of it, weaver and strand both - and home.

    Family disown irillia confirm :|
    I used to make cakes.

    Estarra the Eternal says, "Give Shevat the floor please."
  • TremulaTremula Banished Quasiroyal
    I've yet to settle on a proper speaking voice, but Tremula's singing voice is prooooobably close to this.

                          * * * WRACK AND ROLL AND DEATH AND PAIN * * *
                                         * * * LET'S FEEL THE FEAR OF DEATH AGAIN * * *
              * * * WE'LL KILL AND SLAUGHTER, EAT THE SLAIN * * *
      * * * IN RAVAGING WE'LL ENTERTAIN * * *

    Ixion tells you, "// I don't think anyone else had a clue, amazing form."
  • Eva Green or Charlize Theron.

  • After much consideration, I can kind of see (hear?) Falmiis sounding like a less cool Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock.

    Lina from Dota 2

    It's really just a sassy woman making lots of fire puns.

    Burn baby burn!
  • @CyndarianAscends

    Pretty how I Imagine your character sounds like, except a little more 'posh bitchy'? Like professor McGonagall in Harry potter.
    is dead like the dodo
  • Aer tends to sound a bit like Hermione...especially when she's explaining things or in a bad mood.

  • Robocop as played by Colin Firth.
    Jadice, the Frost Queen says to you, "Constant vigilance."

    Cherami Leigh - my first thought was Asuna from SoA's english dub. :D

  • In my head, Syl sounds like Riza Hawkeye.

    Or possibly Izumi Curtis (teacher) - also from FMA.
    Flames erupt from the caldera below as a distorted voice echoes, "Their spirit must be broken if they wish to be reborn as true warriors."
  • DaraiusDaraius Shevat The juror's taco spot
    We are friends now. :x

    So, I'm using this clip because I was going to make a joke and say Luce sounded like Falcor. But I've never actually seen this movie and two things happened: First, I realised I actually DO have an old alt that sounds like him who I'd rather not share since it'd bust open the open secret. And Second, Luce actually sounds a bit like Atreyu.

    You sit down right now and watch that movie! RIGHT NOW!
    Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

    Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.

    But I'm at work...
  • Having to watch the neverending story for the first time is a valid excuse to stop working. It's in the constitution.
