Announce Post #2968: Anniversary Battlechess
Early into the month of Roarkian, the Oneiroi descended upon Avechna's Peak, announcing to the Basin that it was time for the favoured game of the gods: Battlechess! Mortals flocked to the Klangratch Tourneys, and amidst the communes and cities the Kings of each team were chosen.
Representing Gaudiguch, Glomdoring, and New Celest were Dys, Snald, and Nao respectively. In the first match, Glomdoring and New Celest faced each other in a fierce battle that took nearly two days, and finally ended with Glomdoring narrowly claiming the victory. In the following match, Glomdoring managed to efficiently route Gaudiguch, in spite of attempts by Magnagorans to bolster their numbers.
With this victory, Glomdoring claimed dominion over the Chess Board of Libertas for another Cosmic Cycle. Congratulations Glomdoring, and well fought to all who competed!
