Will you come visit?

edited August 2020 in Event Scrolls
I swear these most wholesome encounters with NPCs always happen right when I'm needing them the most. I stepped out of my manse only to immediately receive a dove... it was from Duethielle. My leggies could not carry me to her fast enough. (Also near the very end the strange lag spikes started to occur, so I was suffering a little trying to get emotes out and left hurriedly)

You can read the full log here. Thank you to @Lief as always for escorting, and everyone else who showed up in Serenwilde...!

With a high-pitched hoot, a great horned owl wings in and deposits an elegant white letter into your hands, then flaps off again.

You blink.

READ LETTER

You read what is written on an elegant white letter:

Dear Gurashi,

We haven't talked in a long time.

I miss your music and dancing. It does not matter to me what you look like. I can you see in there.

Will you come visit?

Duethielle Ladrennbenn

P.S. Olikai would love to meet you.

‘It’s important to be kind. You can’t know all the times that you’ve hurt people in tiny, significant ways.
It’s easy to be cruel without meaning to be. There’s nothing you can do about that. But you can choose to be kind. Be kind.’

  • This was an absolute blast in the moment, and so much fun to reread!

Gurashi kept making Duethielle cry, though.
Amazing beautiful stunning avatar by Gurashi!

A gentle breeze ruffles your wings and whispers in your ears, as if for you alone, "Dragonfly's words shine... seeds, sown and tended, inspire... a forest harvest."

Maylea reaches out, Her fingers poised in midair. "Now you are of Me, even more than you were before." Her golden and azure eyes glitter. "Walk well, Eldin. Shed glory in My name, and bring life to the lifeless."
