A New Family and New Executioner for Hallifax!

ZyphoraZyphora :: the sun in her splendour ::
edited March 2013 in Event Scrolls

In which Gordian traces their roots to the historical Hallifaxian family of Pavok, and Klayok Pavok returns to serve as executioner to the Beacon of Harmony.

Wielding a gruesome halberd, Klayok Pavok strides in from the southwest and
stands at cool attention.

l klayok
Battle-scarred and war-torn, this grave lucidian warrior is armed in a polished
breastplate that gleams skysilver against his blue-white ceremonial uniform. His
pale jade eyes gaze ahead in a dead-stare, banishing all visible emotion in
favour of a cold indifference that belies neither guilt nor anticipation. He is
hewn of strongest diamond, chiseled and able-bodied; dull colours course beneath
his crystalline skin, illuminating him with a muted amber glow. In his large
hands, he holds a gruesome halberd, marked with the dried blood of traitors and
deviants. All of this sentinel appears stoic and impersonal, save for the
pocketwatch tucked in his uniform, emblazoned most artfully with a trefoil knot.
Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State is quite powerful.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives the world a smart salute.

Opening his mouth wide, Morbo gapes in wonder.

You blink.

Before the Matrix. (Hallifax City)
Banks of clouds roil about here. Long, lean, and vibrating with barely-contained
energy, a greyhound sniffs about here. A statue of Fraesic Sunfar, Keeper of the
Matrix stands here, memorializing his noble spirit. Radiating with an
incandescent brilliance, the Matrix floats within the circular walkway, slowly
turning and revealing flowering geometric patterns. Wind whipping through his
wings, Fraesic Sunfar, Keeper of the Matrix is here, face upturned to the chill
breeze. There are 10 Sentinel Deputy Commissars here. There are 10 Guardians of
the Dodecahedron here. A majestic onyx obelisk rises from the centre of a
polished ring of silver, bolts of icy white energy arcing between the two. Smoke
curling from her nostrils, a midnight black nightmare paws impatiently at the
black clouds roiling beneath her hooves. There are 2 large white pigeons here.
Gaze cold and dispassionate, Klayok Pavok looms here, hands gripped on a
gruesome halberd emblazoned with the Sentinel insignia. Private Ollie Feyranti
is here. He wields a dull iron katana with both hands. Morbo Gordian is here,
shrouded. He wields a rose-vine violin in his left hand and a glowing powerstone
in his right.
You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.

Morbo Gordian says, "Welcome, Klayok."

You curtsey gracefully.

(Hallifax): Morbo says, "Ummmm. Klayok Pavok is back."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I must speak with the Board on a matter
of some urgency."

(Hallifax): Vivet (from the Realm of the Architect) says, "What?"

(Hallifax): Morbo says, "He requests to speak with the board on a matter of some
urgency."

Irillia curtseys gracefully.

(Hallifax): Morbo says, "At the matrix."

A thunderclap amidst forks of crimson lightning announces the entrance of a
fiery red thunderbird from the up.

Tulemrah inclines her head politely to those around her.

Morbo Gordian says, "Of course, I am informing them now."

Morbo Gordian says, "I believe the Archmage is the only Board member available."

(Hallifax): High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "Right on schedule. Have
him report to me after he reports to the Board."

Tulemrah tilts her head and listens intently to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State.

Maellio arrives from the northeast.
An amethyst-horned hippogriff drifts in from the northeast, suspended within a
fog of shimmering crystals.

Maellio tilts his head curiously.

(Hallifax): Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I have business with Senior
Administrator Clarramore first, High Supreme Justice. I will attend you after."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State bows respectfully to Tulemrah.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Sentinel Pavok."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives Maellio a respectful salute.

(Hallifax): High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "It seems quite
unnecessarily complicated to keep a High Supreme Justice unaware of such
schedule conflict. I expect such of the lower courts, not mine."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I bring glad tidings."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "It is most
pleasing to see you alive."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State smiles, though the warmth does not reach his
eyes.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Indeed, Magistrate. My mission has been
carried out successfully."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "That I am alive to continue to serve the
Collective is pleasing."

Tulemrah nods her head sagely.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I have already debriefed with Captain
Ironwing. She ordered me to make my report to the Board."

(Hallifax): Maellio says, "I am sure the paperwork is merely buried amongst your
extensive workload, Justice Sunfar. The inevitable pratfall of the bureaucrat."

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "Shall we do so in private, or
will here suffice?"

(Board of Directors): Morbo says, "Procedure with sentinels is to request the
report from them, they just aren't going to give it until you prompt them
typically."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "It would be nice
to use the Boardroom, once in a decade or so."

(Hallifax): High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "High Supreme Justice, if
you please, Magistrate."

Tulemrah nods her head in agreement.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "That is at your discretion. I have
eliminated the threat, I have no need for secrecy."

With a cold smile, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "No need any longer, at
least."

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "Well then, please proceed
with your report, Sentinel Pavok."

(Hallifax): Maellio says, "My apologies High Supreme Justice, I was merely
trying to be efficient with your time and title."

Maellio tilts his head and listens intently to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State.

You lazily draw your wings to and fro through the air, fanning them slowly.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "After repulsing the Illuminati attack on
the generators, I was able to capture one of them fleeing the city."

Tulemrah's ears perk up with a sudden interest.

Entrias taps his fingers together and murmurs, "Excellent..."

Gripping his halberd, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I tortured the
location and identities of the perpetrators out of her before disposing of the
body."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Believing me dead, the Illuminati relaxed
their security with no fear of resprisal."

Grimly, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I have made them aware of their
error. They have been hunted down to the last."

Showing that she understands, Tulemrah nods her head slowly.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Very good."

Morbo Gordian says to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State, "I have served a similar
role before in my duty to maintain the city laws on aging. It is not an easy
task to take unto yourself, but a necessary one for the Collective. Thank you."

Ciaran says, "So many people here..."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives Morbo a respectful salute.

Ciaran says, "Probably shouldn't empower..."

Ciaran tugs his chin thoughtfully.

Entrias stares implacably at Ciaran.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to Ciaran, "If you
might wait a moment, yes."

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says to Ciaran, "We're receiving a
report."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I recovered some stolen documents from
one of the larger sects. I would like to deliver them to the Senior
Administrator if I am dismissed."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Certainly,
though I am innately curious."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Yes, Magistrate?"

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "Shall we escort you hence?"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Of said
documents, was the trailing intent. If you would not be opposed to escort yes."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State begins to follow Tulemrah.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "By all means, Archmage."

Tulemrah inclines her head politely to those around her.

Office of the Senior Administrator. (Hallifax City)
Banks of clouds roil about here. This room is exceptionally bright, lit not only
by a massive mandala chandelier, but also by the crystal walls' internal
    lambency. Besides its illuminosity, no trace of dust or pollutant can be found;
the scant pieces of furniture are perfectly constructed and appear as if they
were recently purchased. At the centre of the room is a wide, grey-onyx desk,
stacked with decks of crystalline discs and a bizarre, geometric contraption
that beeps and hums in a droning fashion. Upon the walls are paintings of
evocative scenes, motivational pictures that have been enchanted for further
realism. The air here is perfumed with the scent of skybloom flowers; meanwhile,
a large, opened window on the southern wall allows free, clean breezes to
occasionally wind their way into the office. Hilelsa Clarramore is seated behind
a desk here, overseeing the work of the city's administrators. Smoke curling
from her nostrils, a midnight black nightmare paws impatiently at the black
clouds roiling beneath her hooves. An amethyst-horned hippogriff rests here,
lazing serenely within a cloud of drifting crystals. Gaze cold and dispassionate,
Klayok Pavok looms here, hands gripped on a gruesome halberd emblazoned with
the Sentinel insignia. Surrounded by forks of crimson lightning, a fiery red
thunderbird spreads her leathery wings here, ruby eyes alight with a formidable
intellect. Force Commander Jakir Gordian is here, shrouded. He wields a sleek
beam generator in his left hand. Ciaran is here. He wields a sleek beam
generator in his left hand and a delicate crystal staff in his right. Junior
Fellow Vivet Gordian, M.TS is here, shrouded. She wields an amethyst domothean
scalpel in her left hand and a reinforced door shield in her right. Orbiting
around her head are several spinning crystals. Morbo Gordian is here, shrouded.
He wields a rose-vine violin in his left hand and a glowing powerstone in his
right. Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes is here, wreathed in a
flickering mandala of silvery light. She wields a delicate crystal staff in her
left hand and a golden sunburst shield in her right. Shaper-Magistrate Maellio
Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer is here. He wields a beryl domothean scalpel in
his left hand. Orbiting around his head are several spinning crystals. Entrias
is here, nodding his head. He wields a sleek beam generator in his left hand.
You see a single exit leading north.

    Tulemrah nods her head emphatically.

    Entrias nods his head.

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore glances up with faint interest.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives the world a smart salute.

Aeromage Entrias Gordian, Maintenance Engineer whispers to Jakir, "Should I
    secure the premises?"

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "May I help you, Sentinel?"

Force Commander Jakir Gordian says to Entrias, "Please do."

    Entrias nods his head.

Entrias tunes his force generator with great care and precision, angling it
exactly to the north as he creates a feedback loop of repulsive particles which
completely restricts passage in or out.

    Tulemrah tilts her head curiously.

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "It's just paperwork."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Senior Administrator, my apologies for
disrupting your work but I have secured stolen documents and communique that
    rightfully belong to the City."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Bit excessive,
    yes..."

Morbo Gordian says, "This did all start because of sabouteurs....but I trust
Sentinel Pavok when he says that they have been dispatched."

    Entrias bows respectfully to Morbo.

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "Quite."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore lifts an eyebrow, but nods quietly in
    answer.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State passes a booklet of letters and a pair of
official looking documents to Hilelsa Clarramore.

Sifting through the files with rapid ease, Senior Administrator Hilelsa
Clarramore says, "Where did you procure these?"

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "From a sect of Illuminati in the Razines.
They look like familial registries from the Collective and the Mesa Compound."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore lets her eyes glance up at Klayok, then
towards the gaze of those gathered, her lips pursed in thought.

Tulemrah's ears perk up with a sudden interest.

With a sort of confused admiration, Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says,
"Remarkable condition. Still legible, too. Well, well. What a find."

His cold eyes gleaming, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I found them to
    be most interesting."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Curiouser."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State,
"You must be quite glad of this news indeed, Sentinel. It is rare that one
gleans such information about one's geneology."

Morbo Gordian says, "The need for accuracy is inherent in the goals of the
Collective, but quite a dust up over familial records. It hardly matters to whom
you are related, we are all judged on how we serve the Collective and nothing
    more."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I am all the more glad that House Pavok
continues to serve the Collective, Senior Administrator."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State's eyes sparkle with amusement at Morbo.

Glancing up at Morbo, after he has spoken, Senior Administrator Hilelsa
Clarramore says, "It is an interesting connection indeed, between Gordian and
    Pavok."

    Morbo Gordian says, "Hrm?"

Jakir flickers curious shades of light green, his head tilting slightly.

    Tulemrah raises an eyebrow questioningly.

Entrias lifts his eyebrow slightly, curious.

The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Senior Administrator Hilelsa
    Clarramore's lips.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Hail, cousin."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore gives a booklet of aged letters to Morbo
    Gordian.

Smiling thinly, Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "This should make
a few things quite clear... Morbo Pavok."

Morbo Gordian says, "Are these confidential?"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "... and
    curiouser."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "Only as confidential as the
    family decrees them."

Morbo Gordian says, "In that case."

Junior Fellow Vivet Gordian, M.TS says, "Hmm!"

Morbo Gordian says, "Please do not handle it overly much, they are quite ancient."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State smiles thinly.

Reaching to a scroll across her desk, Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore
says, "In the desire to be procedural, I shall file this properly."

Morbo Gordian says, "I have placed the booklet where all may read, I am still
checking this against what I know of our origins as well."

    My dearest Skori,

I have arrived safely in Talthos. How I wish that you could be with me,
to see our child born, although doubtless even if you could have gotten
leave as well you would be absent as much as possible to avoid arguing
    with Papa.

No, I am sorry. That is unjust. And I know, of course I know, that you
cannot leave your duties. Nor would I wish it for all the world. You
would not be you if you did not stride forward, shouldering as many
responsibilities as you can, with all the fervor in the world.

Thinking of you brings a glow to me, and Mama is glittering with
amusement as I pen this. However she urges me to hurry, and so I will
end this that you might receive it as soon as possible.

We have horrible timing, dearest. I would give a great deal to stand
beside you next week, listening to the broadcast as Project Cosmic Hope
launches. Although I suppose if I were there, one of us would doubtless
be assigned to security for the dwarf negotiations and we would not
    actually be together.

Ah, enough, I must finish this or you will worry that I did not arrive
    safely after all.

    You are in my thoughts,
    Roko Pavok

    Darling Skori,

I had forgotten how -dull- Talthos could be. I miss the stimulating
company of our friends at the Institute and Centre. And you. I miss you
most of all. Let me see, if you were here you would tell me that I
should take advantage of the lack of interruptions to pursue my
painting, for I am forever complaining about the lack of time.

I have been taking time to paint. Papa turned positively green when he
saw my first result in years. He really has not forgiven you for not
settling down to be a High Caste scientist, and for encouraging me to
busy myself beyond painting. You were, of course, right to do so. I have
never had the talent of the great artists my family has produced, and I
am so much more useful being, well, useful.

I hate not being useful here. Duty, Honour, Service. They suit me so
much better than my family's dreams of artistic supremacy which do seem
very self centered, now that I am surrounded by them. Talthos is
beautiful, with its splendid combination of form and function, but I do
sometimes feel as though Papa loses view of the Collective in his
    pursuit of beauty.

And to think I was once like them. How eager Papa was for the marriage
of his daughter to the brilliant Aeromantic Engineer. How cold I was to
you at first. And now Papa and I have changed views entirely. I am so
grateful for our marriage. You know that, right?

And now, at last, we will have a child. Of all the things that I have
made, this will be my favourite. And not just because I always think
poorly of what I made, but because I made him with you.

    Love always,
    Your Roko

How can I possibly be calm? How on earth am I not supposed to fret and
worry? They say it's spreading north. You are in far more danger than I,
and I can do nothing. Nothing. Trapped in this small village with a
large belly and a fretful fussing family.

I cannot even make you promise to stay safe, for it would kill you to
make that promise, and I know that you will not keep it. Not if Hallifax
is in danger. And it will be, it will be, for you are right in its path.

I can only wait, desperately, for news. I know you are busy, dear one,
but write me, promise you will write me as often as you can.

The child is not yet born. I do not know what he is waiting for, perhaps
assurance that he will be born into a world where he has yet a father. I
want him to have a father, please-

No, no, no no. I know, he must have a father to be proud of. A brilliant
father who did his Duty to the Collective, who fought for his city, for
what he believed to be right, in the face of all odds. Who served. I am
sorry. I wish you were here to tell me that I am being silly and
excessive. Blame the times, and the pregnancy, and the fact that I am
surrounded by, as you would say, my fitful flighty artistically nervous
    family.

    Write me soon,
    Your devoted Roko

    Dear Skori,

I know there is something that you are not telling me. Something beyond
the cloud that has been, at least a little, pushed away. Why else would
you ask such things of me?

But I promise. I promise that I will raise our child in the traditions
of House Pavok. I will not let my family persuade me to take back my
maiden name, and raise him their way. I will teach him that his caste
must be earned through service, duty and honour. I will teach him to
wear the trefoil proudly, and give him my ring, or have one made for
him. I will teach him to master being a soldier and a scientist, or an
artist in his service to the Collective

But I would rather that we teach him these things. May the Collective
    bring you home to me.

    Love,
    Roko Pavok

    You see nothing written there.

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore takes a quill from her desk and writes
with staggering speed across the scroll, smoothing it primly before handing it
    over.

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore gives an official scroll to Morbo Pavok.

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "All is now in order, Morbo Pavok."

    Tulemrah smiles softly.

Aeromage Entrias Gordian, Maintenance Engineer pulls a small sketching notebook
from his pack, glancing about before drawing a few, simple lines upon the paper
    with a bit of coal.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State firmly shakes Morbo's hand, looking him directly
    in the eye.

Morbo Pavok says, "I am...my, we are efficient. This is happening very quickly."

Junior Fellow Vivet Pavok, M.TS says, "Ah, it would seem the checking has been
    completed already."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore waves her hand dismissively.

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "I am efficient at what I do. It
is why I am Senior Administrator."

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "I believe the High Supreme
    Justice was next?"

Junior Fellow Vivet Pavok, M.TS says, "Correct."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "Ah, yes. She is rather testy. I
    would not keep her waiting."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Yes, if I am dismissed, Senior
Administrator, I do not wish to keep the High Supreme Justice waiting."

Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore busies herself at her desk, losing
    interest in the proceedings.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives the world a smart salute.

Morbo Pavok says, "I believe this was your report to give, Cousin."

Drolly, Senior Administrator Hilelsa Clarramore says, "You may go."

Preeminent Court of Truth. (Hallifax City)
Banks of clouds roil about here. The Court chamber is imposingly spacious,
enough to dwarf any who enter. The crystalline walls are clear tinted with sober
shades of blue and purple; tall columns march along each, impossibly slender and
delicately fluted. Exquisite fan vaulting spreads over the distant ceiling,
veins wrought from fine silver-grey crystal melding into shades of purple and
blue. The floor is left uncovered, an expanse of cool, smooth crystal; footsteps
echo impressively on this undecorated surface, the sounds amplified by the
room's natural acoustics. Rows of carved crystal pews stand side-by-side, facing
the front of the courtroom; past these, the floor is raised a few feet higher,
cordoned off by a decorated barrier. The judge's desk is a vast block of crystal,
with a massive crystal chair that more rightly resembles a throne. The
proportions and decor of the chamber seem chosen to awe and humble all those who
enter for judgement. Seated upon a beautiful judicial bench of glistening
crystal, the High Supreme Justice, Lilliana Sunfar ensures law reigns supreme.
Patrolling the highest echelons of the city, a custodian of justice oversees the
serene peace of the Over City.
You see a single exit leading south.

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar gives a pained sigh.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives the world a smart salute.

Crisply, High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "You are late."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "My apologies, High Supreme Justice."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "I am ready for my next assignment, if you
    have one prepared for me."

In a flat tone, High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "But I understand
congratulations are in order." She pauses. "Congratulations."

Saluting, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Thank you."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State,
"As for your assignment, I am under the impression that Irima has informed you
of the details. Is this assumption true?"

With a stolid nod, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Yes, ma'am."

Relieved, as if this has spared her a tedious lecture, High Supreme Justice
    Lilliana Sunfar says, "I see."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "You are to report outside the
Ministry of Justice. When you are called to duty, I shall have the necessary
    order submitted to you."

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Yes, High Supreme Justice. I will look
    forward to executing your justice."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says to Maellio, "Magistrate, do you
understand the procedures necessary for receiving such an order?"

    Entrias raises an eyebrow questioningly.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State gives the world a smart salute.

With a quick, cold glance at his surroundings, Klayok Pavok shoulders his
halberd and departs to the south.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Let us assume,
for the sake of refresher, that I do not."

Maellio tilts his head and listens intently to High Supreme Justice Lilliana
    Sunfar.

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "I see. You ordered an executioner on
behalf of the Collective. Klayok Pavok has been chosen as Sentinel of State and
    shall carry on this duty."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "The Board alone may request
    executions from me."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "If any are willing to be a test
victim, I am certain that the Sentinel of the State would not mind testing his
    skills."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar smirks.

With a hopeful smile, Ciaran raises his hand high in the air.

Aeromage Entrias Pavok, Maintenance Engineer says, "I would be more than happy
to sacrifice my body for the Collective."

With a hopeful smile, Jakir raises his hand high in the air.

The corners of Tulemrah's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "Ciaran was first."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Alright then."

High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says to Maellio, "Magistrate, shall you
    make the order?"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I request an
    Execution Order for Ciaran."
High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "Very well, Ciaran shall be executed
for the betterment of the Collective. A moment while I file the necessary order
    forms."
High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar brings forth a shimmering crystalline order
form, which she signs with a decided flourish before handing it to Maellio.

Ciaran says, "The oldest do die first, generally speaking."

In cold monotone, High Supreme Justice Lilliana Sunfar says, "Submit this
request to Klayok Pavok. I have done my civil duty."

Archmage Tulemrah Shevat, Tender of Breezes says, "To the Ministry of Justice!"

Outside the Ministry of Justice. (Hallifax City)
Musical tones and motes of energy float through the air from a healing shrine of

Zvoltz nearby. Banks of clouds roil about here. A gentle breeze whistles around
you. A statue of a hefty hexahedron stands here, memorializing his noble spirit.
Gaze cold and dispassionate, Klayok Pavok looms here, hands gripped on a
gruesome halberd emblazoned with the Sentinel insignia. You see exits leading south, southwest, west, and up.

Tulemrah doffs a majestic tiara of golden lightning to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of
    State.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "Please do not distract me from my duties.
If you have an execution order, hand it over or leave me to my business."

Entrias flashes a charming smile that never touches his eyes.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Right then."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to Ciaran, "Die
    well."

Tulemrah gives Ciaran a respectful salute.

    Ciaran says, "I do."

Maellio gives an execution order to Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "The guilty will kneel before me and
    justice will be served."

Ciaran kneels onto one knee, demonstrating his humility and respect.

Expressionless, Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State slams the butt of his halberd
into Ciaran's temple, causing him to briefly black out and fall to the platform.
Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State shoves a rough wad of cloth shoved into Ciaran's
mouth as he returns to consciousness, struggling against the rope being bound
around his wrists and ankles. Without a hint of emotion, Klayok Pavok, Sentine
of State gazes down at the pitiful form of Ciaran before kicking him over the
    side of city.

Klayok Pavok, Sentinel of State says, "The law has been carried out."

    Tulemrah nods her head sagely.

Entrias acknowledges the point with a grave nod of his head.

    Maellio nods his head sagely.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Efficient."
