Do wildnodes regularly flare and cause damage and afflictions?

Currently the wild nodes on Scorpio and Capricon are going crazy, causing damage, ablaze, blackout, and aeon.  There's not rhythm to it, and sometimes it does it over and over and over and over.

Is this normal?

No, that was a bug. I've fixed it. The safest way to deal with weird things happening is to file a bug in game.
