- 'Long live the Queen!' To me, there will never be anyone quite as magnetic a leader as THE Queen of the Night.
- Old guilds just felt like they had a much more archetypical identity. Didn't try to be special, just 'yea, we're warriors, let's get on with it'. EDIT: OH MAN HOW COULD I FORGET BLACK SHUCK I MISS BLACK SHUCK THE MOST!
- I don't participate in the new guilds. Not a point against it, I just am not at a point in my life where I have time to do like. Guild tasks.
- Can't think of anything.
- The latest Shikari. I'm very sad I missed out on her playing the role. It would've been truly something special.
- For god roleplay, visibility isn't all that important. I mean seeing the god every now and again is nice, but activity via emotes or npcs or like... I dunno, letters? Is still the key part of it all. Arguably better, since it's creating a richer world.
Now, have you held all 48 at once? How do you know there are only 48?Neladahi said:Nels believes that firefly squid are little beacons when the Inner Sea is dark to help guide ships away from danger (though it didn't help poor Cpt. Narule). She also believes that each firefly represents a star in the sky (which doesn't work with mechanics, because there's only 48, but a girl can dream).
Neladahi said:My Magnagoran believes, like many Magnagorans, that the Fates are traitorous creatures who betrayed Magnagora's trust during the events of Project Cosmic Hope. She also doesn't like that Magnagora uses organic bats (however skeletonized) as their method of post, given bats' association with Viravain and thus, the Wyrd. #MechanicalBatsClub
- The rite of hai'gloh zemordia.
- A lot. Not a great rper, so I can't always keep the character intact, but definitely not the same as it began. Not the least because I grew up an actual like 15 years since I started the character....
- Magnagora. City, arrogant, independent. I'd love to have an IC reason to flip to Nihilist, too, just a really wacky class mechanically/badass class flavor.
- Jorge. The delivery message for Jorge makes me chuckle IRL no matter how many times I see it. Just fantastically silly.
Neladahi said:This certainly sounds like a cool idea, though I do worry that it would encourage people to join one guild instead of spread out, even if the idea is to encourage people in smaller guilds getting larger bonuses.
I love the idea of possibly getting guildpoints for things like designing for deeded clans (maybe we could have a way to set 5 clans to each guild, as "official cartels"?) because it'd encourage people making designs related to the RP and aesthetic of the guild itself.
This sort of stuff might encourage people to fix guilds that aren't doing well, also, which would really benefit the environment of the game and get all the guilds back into tip-top shape, since some are woefully underloved and underchanged and could use some affection in getting back on their feet.
