Artisan Prices Proposal
To make sure we're getting these right - because some of the changes are huge! - we wanted to run these by you first. We're including them both in a handy coloured version, and in a plain text.
As some insight into how we approached this: Artisan is a strange beast because it has such a huge variety in the longevity, purpose/effect, complexity and potential materials of its items. We considered all of these things whilst looking at new values.
You might see that something that would be larger than something else actually requires fewer commodities. This will be one of those other factors - it's more complicated, or its "stat benefit" is much bigger, or something along those lines. It's not quite as simple as scaling all the costs by size, sadly, or this would have been much easier!
So, to the values:
Red (or obscurely pink - we blame those of us who are high on chocolate) means the design's value has changed. Only one cost has gone up (fighting rings); all others have gone down. Green values are not changing - this includes some of the values we already changed in the initial round.

A humble cedar statuette of Tosha the Meditative rests peacefully here.
The warm, spiced redolence of cedar wafts from this diminutive wooden idol, meticulously carved in
the shape of a meditating loboshigaru and sanded to a satiny finish. With padded paws upturned upon
his knees, and the claws of each thumb and forefinger gently touching, he rests in a serene lotus
position, digitigrade legs crossed and bushy tail curved gracefully around his backside. Painstaking
scoring gives the distinct impression of a coat of coarse fur, covered by the humble robes of a
Toshan master, and while the shape of his gently inclined muzzle and attentively pointed ears
faintly suggests lupine topography, the rosy striations of unvarnished cedar leave his true heritage
ambiguous. What is clear is the care and dedication apparent in every curve and angle of the
carving, which lend lifelike verisimilitude to the monk's peaceful posture and benevolent, open-eyed
gaze. The base of the statuette is carved into an intricate lotus flower, its countless overlapping
petals upholding a simple dais on which the loboshigaru tends to his monastic devotions. A distinct
aura of tranquility effuses from the humble meditation aid.

You pat the head of a carved cedarwood Toshan idol and a light goes on in its eyes.
Laser lines carrying bursts of steam and streams of fire shoot from the eyes of a carved cedarwood Toshan idol and hit a grey pigeon.

From the cold azure aura that casts a sickly tinge upon Raezon's fair skin, to His towering stature, there can be no doubt that He is a radiant immortal. Studying the world from atop an aquiline nose and a mouth that is little more than a severe slash, His stark cerulean eyes betray no emotion in their incessant stare. Handsome, gaunt features are highlighted by the wavy, medium-length hair that has been combed back upon His head, not a single strand out of place. His limbs are slender, barely any extra mass to Him beyond what would be considered necessary to function. Upon His hands and arms are tattooed various diagrams and indecipherable writings, all of which shift about constantly and fade in and out of existence. Around His form hangs the scent of newly charged air after a lightning strike.
He is wearing:

You look at brocade robes with a dancing pattern that Raezon is wearing:
Unmistakably divine fabric has been woven together into long robes that extends to the wrist and ankles, the silver colour shifting to dance between hues and shades in an aesthetically pleasing display. Patterned along the robes is an impossibly complex pattern of shadowy arcane symbols, sephiroth, and pictographs that shimmer into new forms every few seconds while never breaking the pattern. The left half of the robe is folded over the right, sashed at the waist to allow it to drop in a straight line that does not shift even with the most strenuous of movements the Forbidden may make. While the sash itself is plain compared to the magnificent pattern of the robe it binds, a large segment drops from a tidy knot at waist height to hang to knee-height, azure flames upon it burning in the shape of a pentacle.
You look at a haloed crown of azure flame that Raezon is wearing:
Little more than a shifting collection of flames that gleam with the cold intensity of ice, this crown of embers nevertheless floats faithfully around the Forbidden's head in a makeshift halo that casts a stark azure light upon His features. Offering no scent, the flames still emit the most satisfyingly faint crackle as they dance in a constant, mystifying orbit behind Him.

A once-pristine overcoat, this sleeveless garment falls to hang at the ankles and is comprised of some golden, divine material that is indiscernable between metal and fabric. Further obfuscating its nature, the coat is covered in traces of azure fire that burns without damaging it; each mark something scribbled with a tidy but illegible script written in the Divine tongue. Embroidered along the edge of the coat are a collection of silvery diamonds in a perfect line, most shining with some inner light while others have faded into a relatively murky translucence.

Would it be possible for this message to contain the information that designers/trademasters get when a design is approved? For instance:
2019/08/22 16:27:14 - Hallifax has scored 5 points - Daraius's public design #29024 of the solar plexus chakra in radiant yellow was approved.
Probably just a Hallifaxian problem, but it would cut down on our bookkeeping if the orgpoints message were more detailed.
Currently I just message Alak about the design and who designed it so she can allocate the reward, once I get the trademaster message. (Same for the library messages when I was Librarian)
