Every guild in Lusternia has a counter. The main counter against ANY melder is a GOOD Guardian. Active Lust = GG to a melder. There's subtle ways around it, but it's difficult anymore. Nihilists are harder than Celestines though. But, believe what you want. I don't actually think you have any real idea how the true mechanics work to begin with. TK lacks it's solo kill anymore, and is now more utility on it's own while supporting your main skillset. If you get a TK kill, their curing is bad. If you agree, because you are dying to them, then maybe your curing is bad.

Aside from that, I do know the actual math behind the ratio changes to vessels! It's readily available in an envoy report. It's significantly harder, and yes, there are counters to everything. However, like I said, I don't feel compelled to discuss the finer points of psionic theory crafting because, as you have so willingly demonstrated, you're just here to show your trollface and try to impress people. If I thought you capable of thoughtful discussion, perhaps it would be different.
I seem to recall that it used to be possible to put a shield rune on a magic tome, making it permanent and letting you use it as a shield. Is that still possible? Or is it symbols/crystalweapons/gauntlets/staves only?

Shield rune is only available on SUMMONED guild items. Kinda says that in the help file.

It can be put on bard instruments, too. I don't know if anyone has tried with a magic tome... but also not sure why one would use it on a magic tome as opposed to a summoned item that will let you save the 10p to summon your weapon every 20 days.

@Elanorwen I forgot about Bards.. The thing just specifically says guild items. It cannot be put on a tome. No arti's can be put on trans skill items. Was a thing in the past asked for and denied harshly.

There was a period when you could stick a winter's/summer's bane rune on robes. It was then changed and any runes were pulled from their respective robes.
