@Veyils you're absolutely right. I mostly just damaged her out. Pratfall is almost certainly OP, but not because of its high damage. Pratfall does huge damage, but can also proc Rune of Absorption. It makes a huge difference between who has RoA and who doesn't. In this case I suspect Issey would have been fine if she had a RoA and a bit better blunt resistances. (I do have 13/13 blunt DMP damage boosting)
The reason pratfall is OP is that it prones and knocks you off balance for something like 1.5-2s. It combines a lot of things into one, making it supremely spammable, on top of being very-killy against people without a Rune of Absorption.
I always knew I was good, but damn. I'm good. I have alt-dar, for real. It just comes to me and I realise without meaning to who people are. No Shaddus alts are safe.

I don't bother to hide some. The others, you'll never figure out.

This happened a bit ago, but I'm kinda still a bit bitter about being docked RP points for being afk. It's not made explicit anywhere that afk is banned (in every other IRE game, it's the norm), and when you don't have a universal news system (? who doesn't have that in 2016?) or a journal alternative, it's a bit demanding to request people remove themselves nonstop from the game for RL issues. If you provided more quick, easy options, people would use them.
The thing that pisses me off most is that my RP credibility is now low because...I have a RL? I can't emote full length emotes....because I was afk? It's like you want me to afk more. If the issue is vote weight, reduce my vote weight. I don't understand why the admin are so big brother in this game that the single two times I've left the game running when I went off to do other stuff....I get hit. That's either some creepily prescient monitoring skills or you guys are checking on me directly and constantly, neither answer being great.
Edit: If you want to AFK, go to a manse. It is allowed there. The problem with AFK elsewhere is that people can see you / want to interact with you and cannot because you are not actually there (which is kind of OOC, hence the roledock).
They actually tried to give us a middle ground because they realize people cannot always be at the computer, but they also want to keep the world alive for all the other players who are at their screens.

I'm really surprised you've been hit twice. Maybe after the first they were watching more closely, but I still find it odd.
But yes, AFK is explicitly not allowed, as listed in HELP AFK, except in manses. I believe (I haven't checked in a while) that all Serenguard have access to Everiine's manse, so if all else fails, you can duck in there or any other public manse if you want to stay logged in while you go AFK.
The good news, I guess, is that nobody pays attention to rolepoints. I wouldn't have even known you were docked if you hadn't posted on the forums, as my eyes skim right over that line.
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.
There is a news system. There is also a journal/book writing system.
edit: Right, no universal one. It's... not that difficult to either quickly tap qq if you're not going to be able to walk to a news room... is it?
You can also AFK in a manse.
If an admin has dinged you once, you should know this. Just... don't afk outside of these numerous ways to afk, and you'll be fine. An admin checking up on you is usually an admin trying to see if you're up for some RP. If you're afk... well, it really isn't anyone else's fault...
I'm not sure what you mean by universal news system but you can read the news outside the news room, only having to go into the news room to write posts. Do people in other IRE games use the newsrooms to AFK in(that you can access from anywhere it seems)?

I'm also pretty sure you can still timeout in the newsroom here--I've gone into the news to start writing a post, and it's taken so long I seem to remember being logged out. It's why I write all my news posts in gedit beforehand now. I think.

I once timed out from taking too long to compose letters, so I don't know if I'd recommend the news room or letter-writing at a desk for that. Depends on how long you have to go away from the keyboard.

Yes. You afk in the news because you're become as good as offline in there, but you don't lose your defs etc. You're still "online", but you're in a frozen and invulnerable state, hunger doesn't progress, online time doesn't progress etc etc.
You can easily traipse to the org news room and hit news, and go afk in there without needing to worry about being dinged or talked to, or giving a bad impression to newbies who talk to you but get no response.
Once upon a time we were able to write in our journals from anywhere. Then it was abused to escape combat and afk in enemy territory(specifically: When raiding Prime Glomdoring).
Tip: Abuse of toys gets toys taken away.
Edit: Specifically this individual's journal got taken away from him, but it was that sort of thing that eventually led to restrictions when Artisanry came out.

Firstly how the hell did you get 13/13 blunt damage buffs? Tell me plz I need this
Secondly wasn't commenting on op or not. Just reporting what happened on the log

Hanging out in a manse when you are not actively interacting with the game/people is the best solution beyond QQing. I'm not entirely sure what news has to do with your issue, but you can actually read news from the IRE website independent of being in the game. http://www.ironrealms.com/game/news and just log in to get your character news.
She is saying she wants to be able to enter the news from anywhere in order to AFK... and a reason why it does not exist in 2016 can be found in my post above. It is far harder to steal news access from someone than it is to take away their journal; sometimes even abusers need to legitimately write a post.

Alternatively give yourself a shorter TIMEOUT window, if you're that worried about afking.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
I'm personally glad to see AFK being actively punished, I understand things happen. I occasionally fall asleep, but I tend to make it to my manse first. Thought I did afk for 10 hours in the library once >_>

Think I'll screenshot this for the next time the North complains about something doing too much damage.

Considering it's actually an envoy from the north (me) who made a report on pratfall...
It was a facetious comment about someone literally implying that pratfall damage was ok so long as you have a 500 credit artifact.

Warnings before prices go up would be peachy, admin.

1) Yes, notification to more of the game would have been good. 2) Some details here: i)
I bought a 5-pack at... 150, I think, and ended up pulling ~140 worth of
credits out of it (plus a couple of other things). Thought maybe it
was just RNG-ish, but still, it seemed good. ii) I bought a 50-pack at 1000. Spun it all away, and netted 12 wondercrystals, 250 sticky dingbats, and 1200 credits worth of artifacts (tradein value at about 800). - At this point, I mentioned to Estarra that this really didn't look right, and did not buy more. iii) While Estarra was considering it, Falmiis picked up a 35 pack and tried that to verify my results. iv)
Estarra decided to bump the price up (again, yes, notice would have
been good but at this point the only people who had purchased were
Falmiis / Ialie / myself). It went to 1300 for a 50-pack, which I
thought was pretty fair based on my initial results. v) After Falmiis / Ialie finished, I spun this more-expensive pack and I ended up with 11 more wondercrystals, another 650 sticky dingbats, and 1600 creditsworth of artifacts (tradein value just around 1100 credits).
I
think any objective observer can see that this was a bit crazy-- but by
the time v was done, a bunch more people had been buying them and it
really was worth mentioning to the game that it got bumped up again.
It was caught before it really got abused, thankfully, and you can't take my results as guaranteed (it is obviously a gamble after all), but if you get results similar to my last set (11 wondercrystals, 650 dingbats, and 1600 credits worth of artifacts for 1800 credits spent), you're still doing pretty well.
As long as they aren't travel-curios, you can trade those packs in for some credits back at least (that's part of my "return credit value" equation, I got quite a few of those).
Edit: On that last set, I had a streak of almost 20 spins that netted me mostly rubbish-- to the point that Kraw actually said it was looking like it was a pretty disappointing set of spins (obviously it turned around). So... yeah, spinning 5 coins could turn out really well or it could not. There's no way to tell.

Implying that Dramaturgy isn't available to all orgs.
