The Incorporated Lettered House of Shevat has risen to become the most honourable family in Lusternia, supplanting the
Iron Cultured House of d'Murani! Its power, wealth, and influence are unmatched in the Basin of Life.
Good work, team Shevat. It's clear that a ton of work has been going in for the past RL year or so.
Also, holy ****, that jump. I assume that this is something coded in, to give a huge bonus to the new leader and a huge malus to the former leader? ...why? It looks to be ~80k, which is absolutely massive.
<chart>
I assume because you are the best in the world now (highest gets 500 power for their org each weave.) Likewise, the former lost the title so they lose a bunch. It happen years ago when d"murani over took Ysav'rai. From a design standpoint, it is probably to keep the top two from flipfloping/wintrading a bunch (and spamming the politics board).
I remember years ago when Saleo caused a scandal by marrying out of the Shevats because they were still in that long haul between Lesser House and Great House. I don't play him anymore, but I'm still a bit proud to see how far the Shevats have come. Great job, all of you.

The Vault of the Last Seed is housed within a grand, immensely wide pillar made of blocks of translucent amber, which turn any light that passes through them into a delicious shade of honeyed gold. Small inclusions run through the pillar that on closer examination are revealed to be seeds, perfectly preserved within the resinous substance. The Vault is decorated with scenes of sowing and harvest from across the years; thin traceries of white silver run through the carvings, causing them to gleam brightly. Out of the corner of one's eye, the figures within the scenes appear to be moving, though whenever examined closely, they remain completely still, labouring with expressions of hope and perseverance under a stylised carving of an antlered moon. At the top of the pillar is a delicate depiction of the Last Seed floating in the air, escorted by a single sparrow. An argent line of text has been traced in fine handwriting across the middle of the Vault.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."

Cyndarinused Flamethrower! It was super effective.

I just wanted to say once upon a time I never thought I'd see SSC in Lusternia, and we had some pretty spectacular Anomalies over the years. So raves for @Ianir from an old as dirt retired character for bringing some enormous accessibility to Lusternia, and probably the most consequential change to Lusternia ever.
The group of 6 pilgrims gathers, offering their thanks and giving you several small bags of gold before departing to the alcoves for private meditations. You have completed the pilgrim challenge for five days out of five. Congratulations! You have completed the consecutive pilgrim challenge for the tenth time! [ACHIEVEMENT]: You have completed the 'Pilgrim Guide' achievement! You have earned 5 credits. The blessing of Avechna falls upon you as thanks for assisting wandering mortals in their pilgrimage.

Really appreciating all the folks who still don't mind my CONSTANT and SUPER DETAILED question asking. Lusternia is the most detail-oriented game I've ever played, the mechanics knock the socks off of any other IRE game. 6 months after switching to Lusty and I'm still a newbie. Chances are if we talk at all, I love you to pieces!
You carefully study a cooking recipe. Item: Noodles Type: Dishes Org: Public Designer: Moi Ingredients: grain 5 vegetables 4 milk 2 fruit 2 meat 2 eggs 1 sugar 1 spices 1 Mortal Reviews: Allowed IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: NOODLES Appearance: some caged, soulless pasta noodles Dropped: A plate of soulless pasta noodles glares sullenly from a vegetable cage. Examined: Sharply coloured rings and slices of bell pepper arc over this plate, forming a prismatic cage of swooping reds, circular oranges, zigging yellows, zagging greens and nine complicated purple seals. Yet peeking from between the bars of its bright and spicy prison are numerous bucatini noodles dripping with some mysteriously creamy red fluid and an irregular sprinkling of unidentifiable yet meaty spheres. As a final touch, a soft boiled egg has been halved and draped with noodles to create two yolky eyes that gaze out at potential consumers from within the prison. Consume: A single crisp bite of bell pepper sees untimely destruction of the fragile cage sealing the soulless noodles away. Once freed from its spicy prison, the noodles immediately set to work tainting the plate with spears of caramelised onion and pustules of what is probably caramelised pork. Launching into battle with your noodly nemesis, you devour tendril after tendril of spicy, cream-filled bucatini, crunch decisively at the onion intruder and pluck out the very eyes of your delicious foe. Only the mysterious meatballs give you pause when they begin to leak a pungent green mess tinged with crimson strings. You relish in your victory as a sampling of the meatball's contents reveals a cucumber-rhubarb chutney rather than some more ominous sauce. Soon enough, all that remains of the pasta's escape attempt is an unfortunate tainting of the plate with mingled sauces, bits of stray chutney and the occasional of severed fragment of noodle. Smell: The sharpness of the bell pepper cage completely overwhelms the odour of the pasta within, save for an inexplicable hint of rhubarb. Taste: Ripping a noodly appendage from its pepper prison, you find the bucatini to be filled with spicy sour cream. Comments:

Between SSC and Paths changes, I’m actually grinding decently for once. I don’t get lost nearly as often looking for good bashing or influencing spots and I don’t have to spam my system with manual curing. I don’t know why I struggled so much with downloading a mapper (I did try) or getting m&m to work, but it’s nice not feeling like I’m missing out on that aspect of playing Lusternia.

Firstly: Whoever designed Zarakido. This is such a cool skillset. Same with tessenchi but zarakido is really, really cool. Secondly: Thanks for whoever was RPing as the kephera for the event!

I missed the storyline step because I stayed up way too late figuring out tessenchi/zarakido :<
This is probably me repeating myself but I want to give a very broad rave because in the space of a few months we have received a bunch of features I never thought I'd ever see in this game. The biggest right now being Halli/Gaudi-monks, but SSC, and prime-manse shops are also recent, but really impactful changes to the climate of the game. The cage event was also a lot of fun. I'm probably forgetting a lot of things but things look really good right now and I'm enjoying being around.

@Akatriel designed a tessen for Mali because he's a wonderful sweetheart. And they are awesome.
a star-crossed war fan of the zodiac skies
Both an artistic piece and a functional martial weapon, this uniquely designed war fan has a deadly beauty to its aesthetic. A series of six blades of polished black jade unfold into a perfect half-circle bearing the constellations of the zodiac, one on each side of each blade. The lower portion of each blade is hollowed between the edges to allow a skilled Tessenchi to have a strong and controlled grip, with the inside of the emptied space being reinforced with iron for strength. The sharpened, terminal edge of each blade has a symmetrical wave pattern to it, rising, falling, and then rising again to a peak in the exact centre to create a maximal amount of cutting power. Gem dust has been ground into the broad surface of each blade to create an image of the starry skies that surround the First World, while each side of each blade bears larger gem fragments in the shape of each constellation. When the fan is closed, only Twin Crystals and Dragon are visible. A golden emblem representing the Sun is embedded above the constellation of Dolphin, and a silver disc for the Moon is above Glacier, along with small gems representing Tarox and Papaxi. Further examination reveals gems for Eroee on the blade with Antlers, Sidiak next to Volcano, and Aapek above Bumblebee.
