Oh, sorry I had missed Weiwae's roleclaim. This is all still rather suspicious, but not sure where to go with it.
@Ileein another question. You said your investigation reveals name and power right? So doesn't necessarily show alignment if somebody has an ambiguous power?
Correct. Its main utility is to confirm or contradict the claims of others, or to indicate a truly suspicious power. (Or to find Ratatoskr. )
Jadice, the Frost Queen says to you, "Constant vigilance."
I cannot be eliminated except by lynching; that's the plain meaning of my role PM. Any confusion really only comes down to whether or not something counts as an elimination, as well as whether it includes alterations of win conditions from things like conversion.
Ah, alright. So you think Ratatoskr would likely have the same immunity? My guess is that this is probably set up like Inari/Danzaborou and you both only win when the other gets lynched. And since Silvanus' big complaint with the role was his rival dying in the night so early and kind of killing the mood for him, that'd make a fair bit of sense to me.

That's my suspicion, yes. That setup makes the most sense, since my win condition makes explicit mention of me winning when Ratatoskr is lynched.

Then I think I will want to renew my focus on Kalaneya while we still have time in the day to re-assess.
I've sort of flipped and flopped on this topic, never knowing quite how to approach it. Everything leading up to the duel between her and Ileein got me thinking they had to be the rival pair, and I still can't stop shaking a dislike for the "Zigzag Circle Slash" card. The reason being, if I were to build a Ratatoskr themed card, what would I reference? Smite, probably. And if you've ever played Smite and dealt with Ratatoskr there, you know he likes to dart all over the place, get right in your face, and dash out when he's in trouble. So this first card's name stood out to me right away.
Reimu's Coming is a highly deceptive sort of card, which easily falls into theme with something Ratatoskr would conceive of. However, it also seems like it could be a distinct reference to "Pseudo-Exorcism of the Stupid Shrine Maiden", which is one of Mamizou Futatsuiwa's signature spellcards from Ten Desires. Mamizou also specialises in transformative damaku, so there's that to consider too. On the other hand, Zigzag Circle Slash feels like it falls short of the sort of imaginative stuff I'm used to seeing from the character in question.
So, am I looking at a mischievous, trolly high-ranked bake-danuki, or a mischievous, trolly squirrel god? It's pretty hard to tell.
One other thing that's been bothering me, though. I've given Kalaneya a lot of chances to speak up on her own. To try to explain herself, to say what she's up to, or to just confirm if my suspicions on whether she is Mamizou is correct. Is she concerned because she's not really Mamizou, and expects someone could easily counter-claim if they happen to be her instead? Or is it because she is Mamizou, but has something to hide from us? Since she's big on deceptive behaviours and disguising people and things, it makes me concerned about what her actual role powers would be in that instance.

@Vivet I don't know how suspicious to find Weiwae or Cyndarin at this point, honestly. But I'll admit that the Kalaneya/Weiwae connection strikes me as odd, and if you're still concerned about Kalaneya through her spell cards I'm happy to Vote: Kalaneya also.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Well, since I haven't actually voted and this is the first argument to make sense to me, I'll
Vote: Kalaneya
at least long enough for her to feel some pressure and respond in a more satisfactory way. The connection to Weiwae doesn't seem as important, but it's definitely something we should lean towards investigating if this ends up going well for town-side (or poor for scum).
As discussions flare up and attention turn towards Kalaneya, a hidden voice echoes across the shrine grounds.
"Koutei, come forth. Your mark is to be Kalaneya."
The voice catches everyone's attention. Especially Kalaneya who immediately looks around herself, curious as to what will happen. Storm clouds gather in the distance, and a deafening roar echoes from the sky. Out of the clouds come a dragon. His long, sensuous body slithering through a torrent of rain and thunder. It angles towards Kalaneya and shoots down towards her. Kalaneya dodges to the side, barely avoiding the dragon as it zooms past her. The dragon makes a sharp turn and dives for Kalaneya once more. This time it manages to snatch Kalaneya by her clothes and lift her up and off the ground. The rest can only watch as Kalaneya violently flails her arms in an attempt to make the dragon let go of her. The dragon disappears back into the clouds, and everything returns back to normal, though the group is down one individual.
Kalaneya has been dayvigged.
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
While I won't vote at this point, I'll just say that I don't really object to it either. For now, though, I'd say enough pressure has been applied without my additional vote.

So, guess we're back to Breandwyn and Weiwae having the same ability and using on the same target the same night? ie: square -1

Pleasantly surprised the day hasn't ended at least. I guess it's not like the execution which was basically shortening a lynch train; dayvig is more a quick interruption of events.

Ah! Missed that she claimed that. I did suspect Vivet killed Kalaneya due to her claiming a new daypower, but forgot what character she had announced having. Too many characters in Touhou... ^^;

Right. If I used it during the night, it would be able to pierce danmaku immunity and doctoring. Pretty much the only way to stop it would be blocking me or to have an elimination immunity.
So, you can imagine I didn't want to hang onto that for too long if I'm starting as town. Down to a one-shot roleblock and a one-shot doctoring ability now.
I think she meant me - I did say earlier I had a daypower I wanted to use and not to push any lynch train too far. It was either get myself lynched or use it up, from my perspective.

I can say I don't like this whole stumping aspect. Makes things pretty damn difficult.
