Drawtober 27-29: Stressed, depressed, and pressed for time - recently discovered Kibbitzer's poses on deviantART so I used some of their incredible references and made some easy Gurashi shapes =v= Kibbitzer's sheets are so incredibly easy to look at a glance and draw alongside so go check them out! (so long as you don't trace and give credit to the artist seriously handy reference sheets)

You stare at Cheliyi, eyes wide. You glance askance at Tridemon.
You think to yourself: * a sudden deep, sympathetic ache *.
You have emoted: Gurashi gingerly pulls Cheliyi back into a firm hug, guiding the mugwump's head back to their smaller shoulder. "I know."
Cheliyi's shoulder shake as your shoulder grows conspicuously damp.
Cheliyi inhales shakily.
Stroking her hair, you say to Cheliyi, "You do not have to, no. Never again - just like Tridemon said. Is O-K to not want to do it, and to not do it and not explain why do not want to do it."
Her voice thick with tears, Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Cheliyi, the Pebble in the Pond says, "I know. But I -already- did it."
With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Cheliyi, "... then is done."
You have emoted: Gurashi pulls back slightly, cupping Cheliyi's face. "You cannot undo what has already been done. We do not have the time magicks. Well, Hallifax does, but, I do not know that they are so good at knowing how to use it all the time."
You glance askance.
With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Cheliyi, "...but you are also making a goodly choice, now - going forward?"
Cheliyi nods slowly, quickly drying her face with her bandaged hand and blanket.
Softly, Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Cheliyi, the Pebble in the Pond says, "I am."
You have emoted: Gurashi wipes at some of the mugwump's tears, tail swishing behind them. "You are making a choice, going forward. To protect rather than...."
You give Cheliyi a friendly squeeze.
With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Cheliyi, "And that is goodly..." They cant their head, then lean in, letting their forehead touch to Cheliyi's. "Am so proud of you."
Cheliyi hiccups.
You pet Cheliyi ingratiatingly.
Cheliyi hugs you compassionately.

Was gifted a kelpie mask recently, and it was exactly the inspiration I needed to finally design a proper kelpie/merian!Gurashi. Exciting.
