@Tekora asking a question over cgt isn't really the same as requesting an in person lecture. I mean, I'm no novice expert but I answer their questions when they ask. I don't force them into sit downs and then scold them for not responding to me the way I expect.
Edit: I don't really bug the novices. When they ask, I answer. What I don't do is bitch about them on forums afterwards.
Being proactive in regards to engaging newbies shouldn't be seen as inappropriate, however. And if it's within her RP to expect Serfs to adhere to her org's beliefs and ways, how does that negate her right to be upset about them not doing so?
Edit to your edit, @Celina: Usually when a novice implies they're confused, it's not inappropriate or wrong to assume they need/want help.

Eh, this newbie looks like an IRE veteran with a snobbish attitude about how he thinks newbies want to be treated. I have zero sympathy for his being called out on the forums. The only thing I would have done differently from Tekora would have been to disengage once he made it clear he's not a newbie and doesn't need hand-holding. He can play the game how he wants, and if he's going to complain about our cg system, all the power to him. He can go away and do it where I can't hear.

1) I don't know what Hallifax thinks, but personally, I think Lusternia could use some new people. Some of those people will not have personalities or play styles that jive with yours, but that's how it works. Consider that there might also be people who don't like your personality or play style. We can be snide and rude to each other ICly as roleplay demands, but let's not be jerks to each other OOCly. It's ridiculous.
