I preened so happily because Drocilla specifically complimented me on an excellent letter, nice caligraphy, appropriate stationery, well formed stamp. Letters are awesome. I know a message is a lot more convenient, but there's something special about getting letters! More I say, more!
I try to use letters for all formal communication! If it's important enough, I'll also send a message just to say that I sent them a letter. Any excuse to use my seal and that lovely Shevat stationery.
