The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.
Well I don't think it was a conspiracy of any sort. I got the feeling that the tournament was well organized by the admin, but in the last round whoever was controlling Avechna took over, but didn't understand that it was a double elimination bracket (edit: Or how a double elimination bracket works). I definitely don't think it was planned to have the finals be a best of three which didn't give any favor to the winner of the winner's bracket. The fact that this was posted makes me think that the organizers thought I had won after I won the first round: https://ada-young.appspot.com/pastebin/2t8EnDi1 // http://challonge.com/pugawnxd
I thought that once they said the finals were best of three, I would get a chance to play a second best of three if I lost.
Once Avechna realized that he/she had made a mistake the I guess the cat was already out of the bag, and Davos had already logged out.
Nothing that I can do about it now, I hope that it doesn't happen to anybody else.
Hey, I don't get to the forums very often so wasn't even aware of all of this until now.
I was also definitely confused by it switching to best of 3 for finals. I would be up for doing a second best of three if the gods would honor the outcome. I'm at work for another 3 hours but if you're around want to try to get in contact with Estarra or someone and see if we can organize that?
Congratulations! By order of Newt Blasterson, you've been named a Master of the Aetherways! 2015/12/09 23:54:29 - Pejat drained 2000000 power to raise Davos as a Vernal Ascendant. You use 80,000,000 of your divine essence. You gain BeauteousThought as a supernumerary power.
I was told by Avechna that they had chosen to honor your winning the seal. I of course would love to have another crack at it, but I suspect that the decision won't be changed.
I'll follow up and get a definitive answer. Shouldn't be any big hassle since I'm on board.

Oooooooooops? Just let me stomp the toad ;-;
While the initial cause isn't fixed, it shouldn't error any more and will worst case award the kill to the wrong person now. I'll see about getting it 100% fixed later.
In the future, and this goes for everybody, please BUG untrapped errors you see; they do not automatically record themselves, and the only reason I knew this one happened is one of the Gods woke me up to fix it.
That's why you should turn off the anomalyphone when you get home.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

This is... new. And important to know! For a long while we kept getting told not to bug untrapped errors because they self-report, and it just creates more stuff to wade through. Was that way for years (apparently?) but if we should be bugging now then that might warrant a bit more than a tweets post.

Possibly, but tweets will do for now. I was wondering why people never BUGged untrapped errors, and this makes sense.
Resembling little more than a fluffy cumulus cloud with miniature wings, this downy cygnet peers about drowsily, each tiny, gold-flecked eye barely visible within the tufts of silvery white that surround them. Yet to possess the grace of her elders, she tumbles left and right, the daintily webbed feet that hold her aloft still far from stable, wobbly with infancy. Streaks of sidereal blue trace each burgeoning feather, as brilliant as slivers of sky glimpsed between slow-shifting clouds.
Waddling unstably on webbed feet, a fluffy swan toddles here.
Stout of body, yet still unbelievably tiny, this little swan totters about energetically from one thing to the next, his bright blue eyes barely visible from within the tufts of grey-blue down that surround them. Undeveloped wings tucked tightly at his sides, he attempts to manoeuvre on wobbly feet, falling now and then only to hop up just as quickly. Though far from ugly, he is a humble looking creature, the arch in his neck and sweep of his dark bill the only indicators of the handsome swan he will become. He is called 'Lohengrin.'
Peeping loudly at everything that passes, a chubby little swan struts here.
Tottling off to the in, a chubby little swan struts away.

Your coin vanishes in a puff of multicoloured smoke.
The Wheel of Tzaraziko crackles with a brilliant display of colours, rewarding you with 52 aethergoop.
The throaty voice of Tzaraziko whispers in your ear, "Keep spinning, Dylara, and I'll give you a special reward!"

I miss you, Lusternia.
Tonight amidst the mountaintops
And endless starless night
Singing how the wind was lost
Before an earthly flight

Nice one Davos.
The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."
You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

The anomalyphone is never off. It's like the Batphone, but more anomalous. And probably better in some mysterious quantity, I don't know.
