@Vivet, you are openly courting death, and I cannot yet figure out why. You speak blithely about how you cause mischief and merriment (aka chaos and confusion) and revealed this with the tiniest of provocations. If this is all you want, then it would have been better to stay in the shadows and work your trickery without anyone being the wiser.
What aren't you telling us?
You're not missing much of anything, really. You see, I have this thing where I don't always play to win. It can be very confounding in this sort of game, but it does happen. Might help to point out that I actually don't have an Oberon to report back to, so I can simply do it all for the lulz.
Also, there were zero provocations. I was bored and provoked myself! And Ieptix, just a little bit.
All my statements are based on the best case scenario where you all shrug off what I've said and continue on your merry way, but with more knowledge and an understanding of what might potentially transpire in hand.
If I really did want to play for myself, then yeah, I'd just have stayed quiet and spent the entire game switching people around with me, unless there was a very compelling reason to swap two people who weren't me!
And the best part is, no matter which way we go, you'll all learn soon enough I'm telling the full truth, since people getting swapped around seems to be very noticeable to the involved parties!
At the end of the day, I just feel more like playing along with town. Going Chaotic Villain is so 1478.
We still loop back to wondering what better course of action we need to take, in that case. Or more accurately, if not Vivet, then who? We've only got about 2-3 days before curtain fall, so we'd need to be fairly decisive, and no one else is really sticking out to my mind.
I'm not sure about neutrals having much in the way of extra win conditions, Sylandra went out of her way to clarify rule 11. I guess jester isn't too much of a stretch, but it definitely wouldn't win with us anyway. =/
So A) Vivet really did Amnesiac into Bus Driver and is a huge chaos factor, Vivet's using that claim to push a Jester lynch, and will be a distraction for the rest of the game, C) Vivet's pulling another refuge in audacity and is Keyser Soze just waiting to slit all our throats. Again.
what I do know is that Vivet is extra talkative. More than usual.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
Tremula... Are you suggesting that we should all choose to do nothing during the night? The mafia would ignore this 'vow', it would be terrible for town, and it ispossibly one of the scummiest things I've heard.
Huge, massive FOS upon your house.
Lynching no one is not really an option at this point. If we assume four of the original cast are mafia, plus one SK since we've seen that, and Vivet since if she's neutral she can flip flop however she wants, that's ten town. If we lynch no one, then tomorrow it's 8:4+2 unless you want us to get really lucky and have the mafia or sk hit one another. If we hit Vivet now, that's going to sway the odds in our favour at least a little, so unless you have a better target and a decent case for it...
Yeah, see, this is why the poetry is a bad idea. If you think that only Vivet should refrain from taking actions, you need to say so clearly. Your turgid verse implies that everyone should do nothing.

(Since Luce brought it up, indeed, you guys have two RL days before we more on to the next scene.)
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Does anyone have any actual ideas for who to lynch in place of Vivet, other than "not Vivet"? A no-lynch is very likely to work against our favour, and Vivet is at best a wildcard who maaaaayyyybeeeeee is helpful for us, but has a great risk of being actively harmful, especially later in the game if the tide seems to turn. So, like, if someone has an idea for a better lynch target, bring it forth? Otherwise keeping Vivet alive is a probabilistic net-negative for us, especially with a no-lynch.
I'm going to hate these poems by the end of the game. Also, forcing a watcher to watch vivet every night seems like a remarkable waste of resources.
At any rate, we're dragging our feet at this point. We have no better options, or else someone would have spoken up by now. Could a conversation be beneficial? Sure, if we were having a conversation. Not voting for vivet is fine, if and only if there is a viable alternative. I said this in the last game, survivors are not pro town. They are pro surviving, it's simply a matter of how the math plays out at any given time for them.
What we do know is the mafia isn't going to snipe a survivor over a townie, so that leads the known survivors up to the town alone.

I'm just going to second this. And the idea that Vivet is pro-town and isn't playing to win is really nice but we can't assume that's true. Believing that someone is not playing the game to win is dangerous.

Why would you not vote and offer no other suggestions, just opt out of the day? What good does that do any of us? That's an extremely odd tactic to take. Are you just avoiding suspicion?
Vote and I'll be the last one. There's no evidence she's a jester, that's pure speculation. In fact, a jester/role thief/survivor hybrid would be a lot to expect out of one role.
