"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
I have no idea whether or not Krackenor blocked Lehki's action, but his Pokemon could not have hurt my trusty Deino anyway, because when I Jail someone, I also tuck myself away with them. Thus, me and my Pokemon are immune to night actions, as well as whomever I protect. This does mean that any Pokemon that uses a Night action is useless to me, though.
I thought usually only the jailer's target was immune? With such a pro-town seeming role making lynch unlikely, you're pretty much impossible to kill then. Unless somebody has a day kill and can manage to get it off without one of the myriad of dayblocks we've see so far not stopping them.

Are you really deflecting scum accusations by pointing a finger at someone who multiple people have confirmed as a jailer with pro-town alignment?
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
No! I just said it sounded improbable (okay, admitting inadvertent finger-pointing)...and there's too much going on for me to remember confirmation of Melali's towny-ness. But I won't forget it now!
There's been about... 16 pages of posts. And a non-trivial number of them have detailed and really confusing arguments. Also man have we had a lot of power claims.
Melali's ability does sound quite powerful. But in this game, I don't know that it's unbelievably powerful. It may also have conditions or limits Melali reasonably is choosing not to share. And while it's very protective, its heavy defensive nature can be problematic, as Town being overly passive and turtling can be problematic in the long term.
I need to go reread things before I can make any coherent comments.
Jailer being immune to night actions isn't unheard of. During the Chimaera mafia I had the ability to jail myself, which made me virtually untouchable. Further, during the Shakespeare (I think?) mafia, someone had the ability to jail themselves alongside their target.
That said, it's not the standard variation of the jailer power.

re: Shakespeare, Lavinya couldn't jail herself at all. She just bluffed that she could.

I'm willing to bring the pressure I can. You have a direct accusation stating that you were blocked but supposedly had successful night powers. Krackenor additionally has proven himself Town to me so I'm going to take his word for it.
Yup, the power is very strong. So, just to make perfectly clear: Each night, I can jail myself and one other person of my choosing. While jailed, we are both immune to Night actions, for some value of immune. (Ushaara's power works for some reason.) However, neither I nor the occupant can take any other Night Actions. There are more quirks to the power, but the important parts are here. The quirks have nothing to do with how it interacts with other powers.
@Tremula, if I may, I'd like to make a request regarding the uncertainty surrounding how the battling/exp system works.
I understand that you don't want people to game the system, and you are concerned that this would be inevitable if we knew the details. However, I think all the secrecy is causing issues. Our ability to figure out what's going on is being impeded by unclear rules and guidelines, and I don't think that's in anyone's best interest.
I'd like to ask that you clear up how all this works, in no uncertain terms, so we know what we're working with. You may then, with the powers invested in you as the game's moderator, shut down any attempts at gaming the system. After all, no action can be considered complete without your confirmation, anyway - just tell people "no, I won't let you do that, it isn't fair" if someone tries to get a little too clever and go against the spirit of the game. Hiding how the game works from us in an attempt to prevent abuse is causing more trouble than it's worth.
I certainly hope I'm not coming off as being too critical, I simply think we'd all benefit from the clarity and believe this would be a good solution. Ultimately this is your game and I will understand if you decide not to agree to this, but thank you for at least considering it.
Okay this isn't anything concrete yet and will probably sound a little convoluted, but I'm worried it may come up while I'm away at work and blow my chance to reveal I knew it already.
Kalaneya's pokemon is a Combee, but I'm not the person she saw playing with it. Hopefully she will confirm this and not get me lynched just yet. I'm pretty sure I know who it was she saw though. And that person might be able to guess what my power is now, but I'd still rather not tip my hand too much just yet.
This of course could just mean that I'm scum with either Kalaneya or the person who investigated her, but it's what I can offer without exposing myself too much.
Are you really deflecting scum accusations by pointing a finger at someone who multiple people have confirmed as a jailer with pro-town alignment?
Yeah, why would I do something stupid like that? I may be new to Mafia but I have been paying attention. <_<
If you've been paying attention then you also know that the longer you deflect and redirect after being directly accused of being mafia, the more likely it is that people are going to think you were playing for time while you try to think of a convenient alternative identity.
I'm currently trying to compile a list of all the power claims, to make sure it's safe for Ushaara to reveal what he discovered about me. Especially since he wants to claim I'm not the doctor, I wouldn't want his reveal to make it easier for the mafia to figure out who the doctors are.
I'm really not comfortable with all these revealed roles that aren't leading to direct actions and possibly spreading our investigators too thin.

We are giving so much information I think because people are being very cautious with their votes. Not enough people feel persuaded one way or another, so questions are asked and answered, and suspicions are pushed. That leads to gaining information. If you sincerely think we are giving too much away, then start voting based on what you know, instead of waiting to simply to lean more. Because learning more means saying more.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
You know, we have all these people: Silvanus, Cyndarin, whose secondary goal is to get the biggest Pokedex. If we kill all but one, does that last person automatically win and leave the train?
Hmm, I'm wondering if my last minute post to vote before I went away for a while didn't get posted, because I'm not seeing my vote in the votecount anywhere...
I have to go, and will be gone for a while. It seems to me that we are either going to lynch Ushaara for jumping on incomplete information or Cyndarin for lying. If the facts support Ushaara, I feel confident that we will all lynch Cyndarin and my vote won't be needed. However if the facts don't support Ushaara I'm not confident there will be a unanimous vote. Therefore, in preparation for being busy all day, I am going to vote: Ushaara
Nope here it is... I wonder if I was vote blocked.

More likely it got lost in post spam. Bug @Tremula about it.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Odds are this list isn't complete, I have not yet been taking notes myself. But this is definitely a lot of information that has been revealed so far, and I'm not sure it's a good idea to keep fishing for more information unless we are certain that Ushaara has pure motives.

@Weiwae As you say a lot of information has come out in this Day-phase, mostly as a result of my own misguided finger-pointing, but rather than giving your specific role, hopefully this is good enough for you to unvote.
Weiwae is one of the following four options
1) Bomb 2) Vigilante 3) Roleblocker 4) Mason
I know which one, he knows which one, and goddamn it, if this somehow backfires for me with Weiwae saying he's not any of the four options, I'll hate you @Tremula for giving me leading flavour messages...
I'll buy your claim of a misguided finger pointing in good faith for now, especially since you did not help the mafia narrow down the roles anymore than you did before with your claim of not-doctor. So I will unvote:.
Coupled with my earlier suspicion of Iosion bandwagoning*, and Luce's mismatch, I think we should focus on that pair.
*@Iosion What that means is that you voted for both Rosland and Kilee after either one had over half of the votes needed to lynch them and was also pretty nonchalant / passive about it.

Meanwhile @Ushaara would be OVERJOYED.
