That makes me miss my mice. Buddy's been gone for 3 years in September. (silly that I remember that, I know.)
If I ever decide to give away my gecko/something happens to her I'll probably use the aquarium for mice.

This is Raptor, she's a leopard gecko. I've had her for a year and a bit. I got her when she was a wee little thing that looked like this. It's been amazing watching her grow up. *proud momma*
And the goldfish are Luigi (one with a bit of black around his mouth), Oreo (the spotted one) and Tyrone (the completely orange one).

Then I can fence it in and see about plants and putting a chair there so kitty and me cat sit outside and bask in the sun. But considering the current problems with the apartment this could take a good while, as they are many. It's drawn on so long (over a year) that I've actually gotten legal advice on how to proceed with the situation
I could look at some indoor plants but I keep procrastinating on that. Some green would be nice though. Especially if I can place it on one of the few rare places that are out of his reach (read: he's not yet figured out he can go up to them).

Baby picture time, just for you @Karlach. I should note that when we got him he was somewhat neglected but as you can see we fixed up his eye infection and fleas and he grew up to be a healthy cat. Sole survivor of his litter, the mom cat was pretty clueless, and I honestly think the former owner didn't give much of a damn either.
