Inspired by the intrepid mortals of Lusternia, We've decided to play along, too, but with a notable twist: the divinities answer the questions. We were going to play a game like this, anyway, until you all beat Us to it!
I'll start: Why has no one ever shown
@Drocilla a mirror that hasn't been enchanted? Does
@Thax often get confused with a run-of-the-mill suit of armour, despite the steam show? Will
@Hoaracle ever trim His beard (does He even have a beard?)?
Rules:
- You may ask the Gods questions, too -- this is not just for Us to grill each Other.
- If a God is not answering your question, you may assume He or She is not playing -- or is not willing to give up that information!
- General questions about divinity also apply, but let's keep this fun. Please don't ask questions about Lusternia rules or regulations (see HELP ISSUES for that sort of thing, or use the HELP files in general).
- Keep it classy.
Gods: reply at will, and then ask a question so we don't prematurely kill the thread.

Dear Gods who aren't the first incarnations of your character: did your predecessor leave notes for you? I've always wondered about this.
Lisaera: do you still love Fain?
Thax: Your character has been relatively hands-off rp-wise when it comes to allowing the order to develop, and I personally feel like it's working out so far. How do you feel, and what would you change if you could?
Hoaracle: you've went out of your way to not have an extensive order. Is this for rp or ooc reasons which aren't our business?
Edit: Hoaracle, what the heck is a whacher and how many people typoed it when you took the new title?
I've written about the process of making an older role fit a new volunteer in a few of my god blogs, but you ask an interesting question: I think it really depends on the role. I know that with Lisaera, there were so many extensive notes written on a forum we all use to keep track of information. There was an entire encyclopedia of information written about her, if you just searched her name. As for direct notes to a successor -- not in my case, anyway, no.
Do I still love @Fain? It's funny you should ask. Lisaera has gone through quite a transformation over the past few RL years, and only Her most trusted order members know the real truth about Lisaera and love...
@Hoaracle I seriously had no idea if you still had a beard or not.
@Shaddus When I created Thax, my intent was to be hands off and more behind the scenes support for Mag rather than visible and in-your-face with RP. I think it is turning out really well, and the order has a great group of people. I think watching people develop their own roleplay and help others develop it in the order is probably one of the best parts of having one, and shows me what players I can work later with to dig deeper with Order RP.
My predecessor, we call Oldsune incidentally, left really great notes. It really helped me understand the status of pretty much everything. Old roles tend to accumulate a lot of 'stuff' and knowing what items do what, or where something came from, really helps give you an understanding of the role's depth and character from an IC perspective. Is it possible to do what we do without predecessor notes? Yes, but much harder, especially for seamless immersion. I cannot express enough thanks for the forethought and amazing work of my predecessor.

@Thax is zingavium something that a mortal could wield/touch? The histories say Clangorum is the only one who could manipulate it, but also that there were swords/shields made out of it too. What makes that type of steel stronger?
@Thax, is HalliThax still a ship that can sail?
- What are your favorite mortal adventures, plots, schemes, events, hijinks or shenanigans to catch wind of? Which ones make you groan?
- What's the best way to start interaction with you?
- You wake up suddenly mortal. You are still you, but your powers are now those of a demigod. How do you react and what's your new life like?
1.) Hoaracle 1.0 left pretty detailed notes about everything, but I have disregarded a lot of them (especially his original ideas for how Hoaracle's developed and some stuff for the temple/realm).
2.) Regarding the order, some of this is related to these notes, but most of it is personal things. I like roleplaying, but I found myself increasingly disliking being the "god" character unlike several of my fellow admin. I attempted it, briefly, with two players, but in the end, I really didn't have the heart to keep up with the experiment. I joke with my fellow admin that I am #BetterMobThanGod, because I think I like the feeling of a more "mortal" character with denizens like Adasser or Dain. Will I try to have an Order again? Maybe. I keep having ideas for my temple and realm (which I keep developing), but at this moment, I'm not sure about it. There is also some RP reasons, but they are very light.
3.) I have literally had this question asked to me like a billion times, and tons of people have typoed it to be "Watcher." A 'whacher' is a direct reference to Anne Carson's poem/essay entitled "The Glass Essay." Anne Carson is one of my favorite poets/essayists, so that is why I picked it up. It means to watch, but it has a more romantic or esoteric flavor. But it means more than just "watching." There is this great essay that describes "whaching" as an ethical practice, which I think plays up to Hoaracle's characterization as arbiter during the Triumvirate.
@AllGods: if you hadn't chosen the God you're playing now, what would have been your second choice and why? Have any of you ever made up a God/Persona concept that wasn't in the histories, but Estarra turned it down?
@Nocht: Nocht, who's there?
@Hoaracle how many smores would Hoarsmore store if Hoarsmore could store smores? A score? Or s'more?
@Czixi is it true you carry an extra dagger in your boot? We should take you shopping, gurl, that's what stiletto heels are for.
@Shaddus - My second choice was Malmydia, because who wouldn't want to play her, she's amazing. In the end I decided to antagonise @Thax in a slightly different way.
@Drocilla - Gurl, you know I don't wear boots. So restrictive. How am I meant to see the world if my feet are covered?
Great minds?
Interaction, I'm a bit of an odd duck since Ianir has no in-character role whatsoever, so generally OOC messages or filing bugs. Or be an envoy.
If I woke up suddenly mortal, I'd wonder what the hell happened and call Estarra to make sure it wasn't something she did, then probably go back to coding. I'm boring.

@Thax: What is your favourite Disneyworld ride, and why is it "It's a small world?"
@Hoaracle: Do you have beard envy for Auseklis?
@Drakius that ship has sunk.
@Breandryn I love seeing players talk about or run small RP events about Thax or the Order. It is rewarding to see people investing in things you've tried to set up for them. I always cringe when I see players trying to set up a plot that goes against established lore and always hope they don't try to involve me in it so I don't have to be the bad guy and say no.
I'm not very chatty but coming to the fulcrux is always a start for people outside the order.
I wake up as a demigod, take my amazing indestructible armor and own combat rankings.
@Czixi Any chance of us getting a little romance going, or what?
@Breandryn
1) I think I mentioned this in the "Best of 2016" thread or something, but there was this moment where @Gabriella just got out of a heady conversation about things, and her character was emotionally upset at the Ellindel Memorial. I just happened to be scoping around Serenwilde, cruising for roleplay (as you do), and I stumble upon her. So we had this really beautiful moment where Gabriella just gestured and spoke aloud her frustrations while I just sent rmotes of the rain falling around her. I think that moment is the best moment I've ever had in any IRE game (beating out the adventures of Adasser). I don't have any groan-worthy events, it is actually kind of difficult to catch wind of mortal schemes unless you are really paying attention.
2) Just going to Hoaracle's fulcrux, generally. Granted, I don't really pay a lot of attention because I am always trying to get work done (this is the blessing/curse of not doing the Order roleplay).
3) Hoaracle would probably just do a pilgrimage to all the great forests of Lusternia. I am not entirely sure - I would have to think about this more!
@Shaddus
So, funny thing, my first choice was not actually Hoaracle, but Auseklis. But because of some other things, that role wasn't really available. Hoaracle was my second choice, suggested by Estarra. If I didn't end up as Hoaracle, I really would like to play either Blooredi (because I think there is something really interesting about this prideful, boastful creature who has issues with his "children") or Rahm (because #Jojobo4Lyfe)
@Drocilla
3 - one for each member of the Triumvirate so we can send your butt back to the Void.
@Ianir
Well, I guess I would have to say "yes," with my answer to Shaddus.
