Ignite does about triple the amount of damage a newbie kick does. It also sets the target ablaze, so a true newbie will just die from the burning tics if they survived the original blast.

Wouldn't they have Grace if they're a newbie? I thought they have it all the way to 21, by which time ignite wouldn't have killed them. Unless they're silly enough to renounce, which is their own fault. That's the whole reason Grace is there.
