@Kethaera I seem to have this effect on people. They get such a fury with me that they put their time into learning something new just to somehow beat/stop me. From attacking them, to chopping trees (here's looking at you wyrdenwood/druid flexers), to even doing certain quests. I expected as much that after shattering you twice, you would go out of your way to enhance your debating for a rematch.
I was pretty damn sure that when you and Azula both got shattered, we were pretty much done. It came down to village feelings that'd been built up beforehand, I think. ... Also, the fact that @Akyaevin left was a blessing.
I stayed up almost two hours past my bedtime as it was. And it went on for another hour? Ugh.

Whatever reason people spend credits to flex anything for, Arcanis, to "beat/stop" you is probably below the very last item on their list. This is the kind of oblivious delusionalism a person needs to think that other people expend any kind of effort to "beat/stop" you:

The last time Tweets went off the rails, I would have had to spend at least half an hour going through and deleting the offenders, and probably another half dealing with the resulting messages of "I did nothing wrong, remove my warning, you are an evil dictator of a mod who is ruining the game." messages/issues. So no, everyone isn't happy. Nyxx's recent thread about Avenger is a good example of what you guys can do to discuss issues while Tweets is closed. Simple premise, pages of discussions that you don't have to sit through unless you want to.
Or there is the facebook group, or someone can go the Verithax route of making your own uncensored forums. Much less 1984 there, for those who aren't into dealing with literary themes.
Did you know Achaea has a part of their forums specifically for rants? It seems to work for them. And let's just say Achaea has way more things to get salty about compared to quiet, peaceful Lusternia.
If you cordoned off the bad stuff, put it deep inside the forums within subforums (like where mechanics, q&a, etc) and installed a reputation/post count quota before you can even view/post, I don't see the harm in letting people vent their frustrations from the game. I think it's healthy (certainly more healthy than GTFO post on facebook). Shows people that they care.
Of course, no personal attacks/threats/etc etc but still, you guys should just let people grow thicker skin sometimes and not rush to delete entire pages of replies because someone was offended. It wouldn't even bother me if you just deleted the offending post, but you guys have historically been shown to remove entire well-reasoned debates that stem from someone "ranting".
A rave for mods who make sure we only think happy thoughts, so that visitors coming to our forums won't think people are unhappy.

Every time I get complimented by a Halli god, even though I'm as big a @Drocilla follower as you can be, I feel a little sense of pride. That's two out of three, so far.
The vast majority of the people who I have spoken to have been incredibly nice and helpful - giving advice, answering questions, giving supplies, taking around places including hunting. I've had a lot of fun thus far and I'm liking Magnagora.
