  • I'mma jump to people I know (because several people in recent things I really don't).

@Zouviqil - Generally, Laysus reallly doesn't like Zouvi, but that's because she left and he hates most people who leave (he's a really loving guy, can you tell?) - But then he didn't have the highest opinion of her when she was in the guild, mainly approving because she was around and therefore able to encourage others and make them not think the Coven was too quiet.

@Lillie - Oh god. Yes. Laysus liked Lillie, to start with, amusing himself by sending him prayer beads when he saw him fiddling around like he wanted something like that, and was generally pleased to see his involvement in rituals and being a Good Moondancer. Then Lillie mentioned the Marcella thing to Laysus, and Laysus was at a point where he couldn't throw his weight around, so basically said it was a really bad idea and he shouldn't do it. Then it went quiet, and that was all nice.  And then they got engaged, and Laysus quickly decided he really didn't like Lillie any more and that it was best just to cut the rotten bit out and get rid of him.

@Munsia - Laysus sees Munsy basically as a nuisance, he can't do much about her, so he just kinda hopes nothing happens and he doesn't have to deal with the fallout. She's been trouble since day one in his eyes, and never really belonged in the Wilde, was kinda glad she left, but is also unhappy that she seems to be rather indiscriminate in her attacks on the Wilde now.

    @Nimhuire - BESTEST DAUGHTER

@parua - Laysus sees Parua as someone with a fair amount of potential, but also thinks she needs to temper herself. He disagrees with her on many small things, but pretty much constantly views it as an opportunity to attempt to beat her into submission (or teach her how he sees it). He does think, though, that she's on the right side of things (being hardline Moonie rather than soft like Lillie was), and is happy enough working alongside her, so long as she keeps agreeing with him most of the time :D
Please note: I deliberately play a very flawed character. Just because he says or does something, does not mean I agree with it. He's a bit of a <censored> really
  • ZouviqilZouviqil Queen of Uberjerkiness
@Laysus is a person that Zouviqil has a mixed, difficult opinion of. This stems partially from the fact he was the one to enemy her to the Moondancers which she didn't want, and consequently give her another thing in common with @Anita, which she did want. Laysus was an old Moonie to her that was part of what she called in her mind (and notes) the Lunar Cycle, one of the people who seem to pop in and out of Moondancer leadership. She didn't spend a tremendous amount of time with Laysus, though he was one of the first people that taught her that older may have meant more knowledge, but not necessarily whole knowledge. She still has some respect for him, though that respect is difficult for her to understand the continued presence of.
  • @Zouviqil seems to be a pretty amazing commune mate, willing to get involved in pretty much anything going on, a decent hunting partner and didn't even get -too- grumpy when Uruk showed up literally falling down drunk to try and defend EtherGlom. Zouvi's been really friendly in basically all interactions he's had with her and she's among the list of people he's actually warming up to since joining the Glomdoring.
  • I haven't had the chance to have too much interaction with @Uruk yet but from a distance, Johan is pretty impressed with the way he's thrown himself headfirst into commune participation. Always getting involved in skirmishes on Ethereal, domothing, even holding a domoth himself. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens in the future!

@Zouviqil - we've had a bit of guild interaction and a couple of random chats under the Ravenwood but I really enjoy her company. She's so easy to talk to and friendly, even when Johan is in productivity-mode and not really focusing on other things. I can already tell she is pretty strong-willed and Johan really likes seeing that in his SDs. Yay for being  awesome!
  • TacitaTacita <3s Xynthin 4eva!!!11
A part of Tacita will always wish Johan was her son, not her nephew.
  • ZouviqilZouviqil Queen of Uberjerkiness
Despite him falling into a drunken heap in the face of a raid, @Uruk has taken on the startings of an appearance of Kio or Morkarion, to Zouviqil. A friendly fighter intent on protecting and promoting Glomdoring. She enjoys eavesdropping on his conversations at the Ravenwood when he has them, collecting information in her head about him. He seems like a very busy person who she'd like to count as her friend some day, but she's making sure to keep a relative distance for now as she does for Morkarion, lest she make him irate somehow.

Only ever called "Prince" by her thus far, @Johan is a very quiet Shadowdancer. He scolded Zouviqil once and that made her unsure about him as she hadn't understood what she had done wrong initially, but that has long since passed. He's clearly an intelligent person who cares about the rest of the Coven and Zouviqil also enjoys eavesdropping on his conversations as well. He seems like a person with a good hold of what and who he is, and for this, she is happy and proud of him. She has gotten a glimpse at his humor before and enjoys it, and suspects he may be a very good friend -- to someone who's not her, as she feels slightly to moderately uncomfortable around the leadership of her own guild after her dealings in the North.
  • All these Gloms are so young. Ried doesn't know any of you.

Well, I suppose she is quietly impressed with @Tacita's work in Nocht's Order, at the very least.
  • Having first met @Zouviqil when she was still a Seren and basically ninja-handed her a cake, Aerdiya was bit surprised to see her as a member of Glomdoring when she awoke from her slumber. Since then, they haven't spoken very much, besides a short chat about the meaning of love when the Red Star corrupted the ritualists. Aerdiya still thinks of the cake since she does not forget presents easily and looks forward to talking more with her.
  • KarlachKarlach God of Kittens.
    Oh boy.. where to begin.

@Zouviqil is to Morkarion one of the smartest people he knows to come from Serenwilde, and not only that she was smart enough to leave it. Her ability to look beyond stereotypes and ask questions to get to the truth, rather than take an elaborate, twisted, one sided story impressed Morkarion long before she joined the Merciless Forest. Since joining he's found her to be enthusiastic and always willing to help, two large reasons Morkarion encourages her development.

@Uruk is descended from Ixion thus automatically a rival, though he doesn't know it. Even before Uruk joined from Magnagora, Morkarion knew he was a team player, and willing to pull his weight for the bigger picture. This has proven itself time and again since he joined the Glomdoring, something Morkarion values highly. While he's much older than Morkarion he considers him part of this modern generation of Gloms who joined after him, that have shown great potential. He looks forward to seeing what comes next, though there is that one little detail that needs to be remedied before anyone else notices, how Uruk got to slip that past application has amused, confused and left Morkarion rather jealous.

@Johan is family, getting to know him Mork considers him a pretty good guy, but there will come a day where he takes Johan's head and serves it to Marcella as a present.

@Aerdiya is Morkarion's absolute pride and joy, every day he sees her step out from her comfort zone and take on bigger and stronger challenges, he comes close to shedding a tear. He constantly has to resist the impulse to dote on his daughter, knowing that mollycoddling and overbearing protectiveness will lead her to growing up weak and dependant. She can almost do no wrong in his eyes, and while she isn't exactly his kryptonite, he'd be wracked with guilt if she was put in harm and had to be sacrificed for the greater good. She is Morkarion's greatest achievement to date, and he only wishes he could boast to everyone how great she is.

The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."

You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

Uruk is slightly scared of @Tacita, mistakenly asking her about the Goloths and then receiving an awesome bit of RP that made him actually really dislike their existence. He's mainly scared because although he knows she'd probably be grumpy if she caught him doing it, he's been raising them rather regularly in his quest for Soulless curios.

@Ried and @Aerdiya are both people Uruk has heard of in the forest but hasn't really had a chance to interact with. Hopefully that will change sooner rather than later!

Uruk has talked with @Johan here and there but hasn't really had a chance to sit down and get to know him properly. Johan seems to be about as busy as Uruk is, and respects him for that, as he thinks idleness is one of the most major weaknesses a person can display.

Edit: Mork ninja'd in a response while I was typing so I'll do him.

@Morkarion reminds Uruk a lot of some of the old school ur'Guard, and he respects him highly. Efficient and always ready for a fight, willing to get down and do the grunt work to help advance the commune. He was pretty instrumental in convincing Uruk that the Glomdoring was where he wanted to live after leaving Magnagora, and has always been there to bug when Uruk had any questions. As far as Uruk is concerned he's among the very short list of people that he'd follow into almost any circumstance and do whatever he could to help out. That might change if he keeps giving out Uruks secrets though! :|
  • ZouviqilZouviqil Queen of Uberjerkiness
@Aerdiya was, first, a victim of a cake drop. When Aerdiya and she exchanged a couple of gifts, Zouviqil became extremely interested in the person Aerdiya. That Aerdiya turned out to be the daughter of someone she considered a friend made Aerdiya an even more interesting person. Their most recent talk about love makes Zouviqil feel Aerdiya has some growing up to do yet, and makes Zouviqil wonder if Aerdiya has even had a brush with love yet -- she suspects not. She suspects Aerdiya will be a loyal lover and a calculating person as she grows, and enjoys watching Aerdiya grow up... even if Aerdiya is actually older that Zouviqil by a few months!

Zouviqil considers @Morkarion to be a big brother sort of figure, something like a fiercer Avurekhos. Their first meeting she was glad to discover he did not slaughter her, after his informing her that was the standard reaction and fear for people who met him. She sees Morkarion as a strong person who, despite trying to be a leader who only allows his emotions to fuel him, is very unsure of his own emotions when they are not anger, rage, pride, or passion. She is unsure how he considers her, though he does not show aggression when talking with her, but easily considers him a friend, someone who would not try to hurt her, and even someone who wants to see her grow. She often worries about him, and tries to let him know that she cares about her pseudo-big brother by leaving him cookies when she can find them.
  • MunsiaMunsia The Supreme Goddess
@Laysus is definately seen as a prude by Munsia. From her time in the wilde there were certain people she couldn't stand due to feelings of 'I'm better than you' snobbish attitude such as by @Merloch, and perceived by @Laysus, @Gregori, and so forth. He enemied her for some BS reason not too long ago for just 'being in the area and not leaving' which is fine, I get that's how it works, but a retaliated attack upon return seemed warranted and due to the amount of raids being given out, it seemed to happen. Serenwilde never deserved the loyalty Munsia gives, especially since they let a God push out Narsrim as well.
  • @Johan is basically the representation of why Marcella wants the Glomdoring to burn to the ground, an all-around scumbag for being clever enough to be basically the only person Marcella wasn't ever able to kill who she caught killing ur'Dead, but only because he's a rat, a coward, who would constantly have gigantic groups of Glomdoring people to his side in moments the many, many times that she jumped him - many times within Glomdoring itself.  Then, of course, one day after her practical daily raids attempting to kill Johan, she's enemied to Shikari. Way back when Marcella was a seminovice, she actually cared about being enemied to Shikari, so that put a stop to the constant attempts on his life but left a festering grudge. Johan is what Marcella punches the walls about at night, a snivelling idiot she couldn't kill because he decided to hide in a pack, constantly, that he was unworthy of and untouchable within.

@Celina goaded Marcella about this once when she was part of the defend-Johan squad. Suffice to say that *marcella really hates Glomdoring.*
  • @Marcella - Wow, what a woman. No, really -- to Maligorn, Marcella is an extremely strong and competent person, with a conviction that could see cities and forests leveled, if only because of her attitude that she'll outlast countless civilizations because of her state of undeath. He doesn't know if she's intelligent, per se, but she certainly seems to have a wealth of common sense and is apt at knowing what questions to ask, as well as having an inspiring interest in history, particularly in the Vernal Gods of old. She seems to want to continue the idea that she's "just a soldier", but according to her, not only Maligorn but the Elders themselves recognize that Marcella is a lot more than what she appears to give herself credit for.

Maligorn gets rather self-conscious around Marcella, because she seems so overwhelmingly focused and determined to see her own agenda to the end, while he constantly deals with compulsive self-doubt. Ergo, why does this accomplished guild champion want to hang out with a commoner like himself. She's made it clear that she wants to improve Hallifaxian-Magnagoran relations through him, but he can only hope that Marcella drags him along for expeditions and quests for more than just that. If she weren't committed to Lillie, Maligorn might've started seeing her in a romantic light: martial prowess, check. Strength of spirit, check. Interest, check. Extreme capacity for loyalty, check. Bodyguard material, as well as emotional "rock", extra big check.

  • CyndarinCyndarin used Flamethrower! It was super effective.
I remember that. Fun times. Celina definitely entertained herself by screwing with Marcella's head over her strange attraction to Shikari and desire to remain on good terms with his order. Celina thought, for a time, Marcella would take the plunge and join Glomdoring. She seemed so eager to please. Celina was a little fond of Johan, or more specifically she was amused by his ability to cause trouble so effortlessly, that she was quite content using her reputation and influence to protect him so that he could carry on with his proverbial poking of the hornets nest unhindered. Johan probably never knew, but Celina also played as Johan's defender on the Court when he stepped on the wrong toes. Johan had a bad streak that she always rather enjoyed.

@Shaddus will never forget his time in Fain's order with Celina. He always chuckles when he thinks about how he baptized her back into the order while she had been maggoted. I need to dig up those logs again.

    I miss Fain now :(

  • I'd make one for @Shaddus but then the post would have to be several gigabytes' worth of text to account for all his alts.
The Necromentate's mind opens to you, and a grotesque, demonic figure appears in your mind's eye, screaming in torment:
"THE DEMON LORDS CAN NEVER TRULY BE KILLED - GREAT IS THEIR POWER."

You shock a platinum-coloured geomycus with tales of terror bestowed on villages who don't follow Magnagora.
A platinum-coloured geomycus slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, Ptoma Hive should follow the Grand Empire of Magnagora after all!
Shouts rise up from Ptoma Hive, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Grand Empire of Magnagora.

  • Entrias is a Hallifaxian. And by that I mean archetypal so. But more so, he's an archetypal example of the warrior caste. Stringent in internal matters. Violent in external matters. And culturally refined enough to appreciate fine tea and theater (was about to say Opera, but I don't think there are any actual opera performances in Hallifax. Ought to change that.) He's high on her list of people she'd trust to organize a proper defense of the city in military matter. Diplomatic matters though... well, no comment on that.

There's only been one direct interaction I've had with Lillie, but it left enough of an impression. An impression that in capital letters scream out "adorable". Lillie appeared to be a shy, quiet novice lost in Hallifax, achieved through the shy demeanor and stuttering. The stuttering itself is interesting, and could make for quite an interesting case study of a rare affliction that can't be cured through simple herbal remedies.
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

The bad part about this review is that despite Entrias' occasional temper, he sucks at combat but would be better at diplomacy.

  • I'll do a few from recent posts that I know...

Dramshanks finds @Tacita a powerful influence and inspiration. Glomdoring in its purest, neither fanatical nor detached. There's an understanding of the Wyrd in her that Dramshanks ponders over when he himself thinks about what it means to truly be in the Glomdoring.

@Johan, recently crowned Prince of Shadows, makes Dramshanks think deeper about the growing Coven. New faces in the Coven seem exciting and the Prince seems well-placed to welcome them in.

Dramshanks has had little time to know @Zouviqil, although always savoring when one leaves the great falsehood for the Wyrd.

For good reason, if you've been paying attention to certain people in Hallifax over the last irl month. I almost kicked out three people, and if I could get the Board to agree to "Decency Articles", I would have.

  • Lillie likes @Kiradawea but I don't feel like they know each other well enough to say anything beyond that vague blandness. Lillie appreciates the hospitality she gets shown anytime she's in Hallifax, though, and is glad that Kiradawea accepted her apology.

The exception to said hospitality would be @Shaddus (Entrias), who basically told Lillie to gtfo. But Lillie sees this as the way that warriors are expected to act, and didn't take any personal offense, but I'm hoping that the two of them meet again to further develop their dynamics.

Entrias only knows @Lillie as another Magnagoran that likes to frequent the city. Entrias doesn't like Magnagorans, only being civil to @Marcella because of her relation to @Nelras and her obvious sense of duty to her guild. He respects her, even if he doesn't like where she's from.

All that being said, he doesn't quite know how to deal with Lillie. Part of him want to evict Lillie because she's from Mag, and Magnagorans tend to cause trouble (see: Random Air Lord Attacks, Nayl sneaking into the city and killing noncoms, and so on). A bigger part of Entrias realises that he doesn't have any solid reason beyond personal dislike of the taint, and he shouldn't let that color his actions towards a visitor. We'll see how that works out.

Morkarion has a theory that with the right amount of force, on a yet to be discovered exact spot on the back of @Lillie's head, he could, in one blow, knock that irritating stutter right out of her.

  • Leo still cannot get past @Morkarion as the traitor who betrayed Magnagora and Morgfyre leaving to an enemy org (was at the time).  Morkarion's suggestion that this was done for a greater purpose is just perceived as a weakness in not being able to state the truth.  On the other hand however Leo remembers the assistance and support Mork gave him as Warlord and seeing him grow in strength during this time.  This fondness allows him to see past this betrayal although it is always present and often flares.
