Not complaining about cleaned fridge. That's a good thing, and I have my goto meals that are always supplied for (some form of baked chicken breasts, brown rice and veggies). But when a couple of dairy items sit out for 24 hours...
The company I work for has been working us 6-7 days a week for months, with very few days off. The pay is really good for the area, so we can't complain about that. Two weeks ago, they posted a note saying that the plant would be closed this weekend for inventory, and they posted a signup sheet for volunteers. Only about six people signed up, as the rest of the plant would love a three day weekend, and many made plans.
Today they posted a notice saying that everyone in the plant had to work during this weekend unless they have a doctor's notice. Apparently they don't understand that we have lives outside work.

Health issues that made me not log in tonight, that I really have no control over, that won't get better with the incoming chill from the polar vortex.
Turned off my computer last night, no problems. Turned it on this morning, just a blinking black cursor after the BIOS POST screen... let's see if I can fix it.
Oops. Well, this is me.
Turns out the system SSD is fried. Good news is its under warranty, bad news is its going to take a week or two to get a new one...
So.. started a new med last night that with worse side effect being it could cause blindness. Big thing to watch out for is pain, pressure, redness. I am not overly worried about it honestly.. but 6am this morning.. PAINNNNN.. but it is not what you think, with that split pain also came a spit from my little cat Jazzy. Groggy and pain setting in, I reach up and go, "I think I am bleeding" - wake my fiance up "am I bleeding?" "no" "I think I am" go into the bathroom and ya, two nice gashes across my eyelid.
damn cat -_-
The soft, hollow voice of Nocht, the Silent resounds within your mind as His words echo through the aether, "Congratulations, Arimisia. Your mastery of vermin cannot be disputed."
See, that's why I prefer dogs. When you start bleeding from a dog, you're darned sure you're bleeding.
EDIT: Also, dogs are less likely to maul you while you're sleeping.
We just got her 2 weeks ago, she's been in the humane society since like October. She is very jumpy and I would not be surprised if my cat Jinx was somehow involved. If my life were a book or movie, this would have been foreshadowing lol.

Dogs don't purr, though. I pet one once and felt irritated that I wasn't getting anything out of the experience. Sure the DOG was happy... but cats understand enlightened self-interest.
"Chairwoman," Princess Setisoki states, holding up a hand in a gesture for her to stop and returning the cup. "That would be quite inappropriate. One of the males will serve me."

how can you not get anything out of petting a dog that is clearly loving every second of it? My dogs are far more enjoyable to pet than my cat.
Extremely pissed off with moneygram, my girlfriends mother sent me one of their money orders to pay for some bodycare products, was assured it would be good here, only for me to find nowhere will accept the damn thing.
Spent an hour arguing with them over the phone, seems I will have to send the damn thing back to her by mail so she can seek a refund.
Seriously considering taking legal action against moneygram.
Never put passion before principle. Even if you win, you lose.
If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?
Just being burned out on the game in general. I have things to do and I simply cannot dredge enough care from Giveafuck bay.
The Necromentate's mind opens to you, and a grotesque, demonic figure appears in your mind's eye, screaming in torment: "THE DEMON LORDS CAN NEVER TRULY BE KILLED - GREAT IS THEIR POWER."
You shock a platinum-coloured geomycus with tales of terror bestowed on villages who don't follow Magnagora. A platinum-coloured geomycus slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, Ptoma Hive should follow the Grand Empire of Magnagora after all! Shouts rise up from Ptoma Hive, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Grand Empire of Magnagora.
Already been alting around. Can't even dredge enough care for my alt. I really do love this game and I haven't any complaints (in case the admin might be wondering if something drove me off). It might be time to slink away for a couple weeks.
(y'all can likely find me in Gransys - that is, Dragon's Dogma on PS3. You can also message me on the forums for skype, facebook, etc.)
It ain't goodbye, just "see you later!"

Nooo, Ev needs daughter time .
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.
Pft. I'm not talking like I'll be 100% absent and unreachable. Just won't be...well, 100% present and fully reachable like I have been for the last few weeks!

Gransys tho. Having to walk everywhere was both awesome (for all the scenery that hasn't yet gotten "old" for me) and massively time-consuming. Also, pawns saying the same thing in the same place all the time was a bit much.
But if they didn't say the same stuff all the time, how else would you know what the duke could stand to commission? Or how pleasant certain corners are where nature is unbridled? Or when bandits are left exposed?

This is why I rotate games, I know I am prone to burnout / boredom so I go from one to another about every few weeks. I keep tabs on each but I won't log in for the sake of people seeing my face. It comes with its own drawbacks in that I might not seem as reliable or stable to people, but I'll just roll with the punches there.

I mix in heavy doses of league, wow, deus ex games, and some shorter simpler games like long live the queen, dungeons of dredmor and the like. Keeps my personal burnout away.
If only somebody would come up with a method wherein a driver could inform other drivers of his intention to turn or change lanes. That person might make a bit of money.

The concept of a signal for turning one's car is ancient but has never truly caught on.

Power naps are great...but only if they stay naps. I turned and hit the snooze button so often that I ended up sleeping three hours. Oh time, where art thou?

I hate to say this, but using turn signals in Las Vegas is a good way to get in a wreck /die. The problem is drivers who speed up to block you from changing lanes, because they'll be danged if you're going to get in front of them. Then they hover right in your blind spot just because. So, people not signaling is somewhat of a survival mechanism. All that said, I always signal because that's how I learned to drive, but I kinda understand why people don't here.
