"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Hey, @Sylandra, can you refresh us - what's your race again?
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
For the record, I'm also suspecting Tremula aside from Tarkenton. We got Eny lynched yesterday with questionable results.
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
We know that lab workers are not all scum, because Riluna was a lab worker and was not scum. I'm willing to throw out there that not all chimaera are scum either, because I'm a townie chimaera. So this division seems to only exist in the flavor text, not in factions, unless I'm missing something important? Tldr - I'd say being human or chimaera doesn't auto decide your faction.

I have some questions and stuff first, I still think Tarkenton is guilty
@Azureus - was your power one shot or have you done it each night and who did you perform it on?
Also, I think it'd be good if the 'vision giver' could give us vision of either Sylandra or Tremula this next night - they are really the last two that we don't have an idea what they are, any opposition to that?
I'm also even more confident in the vote against Tarkenton now, because there's still no defense being given, no offering of evidence to claim I'm lying or that my power otherwise failed. Just acceptance.
Interesting, If Tarkenton is lying it gets rid of a scum, if he isn't then there's only a potential three other powers that could have interacted with Celina on night one.
She's also gone back on the attack on me. (I didn't realise the town agreeing with my logic once in the weeks we've been playing this game meant everyone was always following my bandwagon)
If Azureus is true, which seems backed up by Celina saying an unknown power was used on her last night, then Tarkenton has lied, unfortunately it means he included me in the lie, but we'll see how he flips. If he flips town then we look at Azureus maybe?
Oh I also realised I'm working on the assumption that Vision actually visits people (which is what my power thematically tracks) as opposed to using mumbo jumbo to magic the vision to someone which might not show up with my detection method.
Caught and exposed, it doesn't take long for the whole group to throw themselves at the first accusation of a lie, and before he can put up a proper defense, the town has decided that he has to go. Dogpiled by a whole slew of chimaera, Tarkenton is forcibly dragged back and stuffed into his containment tube, his desperate pounding on the glass walls soon fading as he himself fades into unconsciousness, forced into stasis by the chemical cocktail that the tube pumps into him. Using his DNA signature, the group then gains access to his files, and from them they learn the following.
---
You're
Jinx, a monster-type chimaera. And true to your name, misfortune
follows you wherever you go. You used to be owned by a circus, but
when the fascination with chimaeras began to fade with the populace,
so too did your comfort living there. And it wasn't very comfortable
to begin with. You managed to escape, only to be caught a few months
later to be dragged back to the labs for reprogramming. But perhaps
here you can turn your misfortune around.
Your ability is
lightningrod. Once per night, you may choose someone else. They will
be forced to target you that night. You can not use your power on the
same person twice.
You're
the third in command of the mafia. One time, when you're chosen to do
the attack, you may ignore all protections, roleblockers and doctors
---
Satisfied that they've managed to root out one of Ermine's servants, tensions seem to ease considerably. Still, their problems are not over yet. The unlucky monster did not work alone. Unfortunately, before any further discussion can take place, a warning siren blares through the compound. Ssaliss is closest to a terminal, and he pulls up an overview of the labs, showing that several small firebombs have been set off at key locations all across the labs. Small enough that they can be contained... large enough that the group is forced to once more split up in order to contain the fires before they spiral out of control.

Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
Tossing and turning, Pollux murmurs in his sleep,"Only if you bribe me with bread!"
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
Finally, the group has a chance to congregate once more. Some a bit sootier than others because someone did a sloppy job with putting out their fires. Still, the damage ended up being mostly superficial. No severe damage done to the equipment, and there was never any danger to the life or well-being to any of the numerous chimaera stuck in stasis.
Nor, apparently, was there any danger to the life and well-being to members of this group while they were split up either. Everyone returns, safe and sound.
I mean, they're all here, and none show any signs of being attacked, so everything is okay...
right?

Before we do anything else at all, Jinx revealed some very good things when we subdued him. First, we know Ermine's forces attack. Second, we know there are at least three.
Attack could be a number of things. A mindcontrol device of a cult could be an 'attack'

So it's super late in the game and I know a few people are curious about where I stand. Scum probably already figured it out by process of elimination and I'm honestly concerned at this point that someone might try to claim my role (wouldn't be hard to do), so I want to comment before anyone else can:
As @Synkarin suspected, I am the roleblocker. As previously stated, I (well, Xeria) blocked Riluna the first night. While Xeria was MIA the next night, she blocked no one. The following night I blocked Siam.
And last night I blocked @Tremula.
So yeah. Vote Tremula looks pretty good to me right now.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
I'm not sure voting tremula simply because nobody died due to being blocked is smart.
Sylandra, how many other people have you blocked, and nobody died that night?
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
In fact, Tremula already stated she wouldn't be around often for a bit. Blocking her would be uneffective.

Already stated as per above.^
Actually no one dying after the second night really floored me, because I knew that Xeria hadn't blocked anyone. That's one reason I was so welcoming of Ssaliss's explanation of his power; it was the only thing that made sense to me in lieu of a successful roleblock. I almost moved to put suspicion on Siam the last day, but the way the day played out made me feel Siam might not be scum after all.
However we were hitting a point where Tremula and I were the two wild cards. The fact that I knew I was town, and I knew I was the roleblocker, made Tremula suspicious by default. The fact no one died when I blocked her adds to that suspicion for me.
And here's the thing. Scum would know they can't kill Ssaliss anymore. My suspicion is that Tarkenton used his one-off successful no-blocks kill on a jailed Ssaliss, and was surprised by Ssaliss's secret second ability that defended him from being killed. I also suspect that Enyalida might have actually been one of the mafia, leaving a hypothetical situation where Tremula was forced into being the only scum left to make a move. And if she's the only one left, and I block her, no one dies.
So my vote stays. Maybe someone can point out why that's a bad idea to me, but right now it feels wise.

See, I disagree! She had time to post to the forum announcing an absence, why not a chance to message Kiradawea her night move? Doesn't take long to do. "Hi Kira this is what I plan on kthxbai." Takes about as long as posting a cautionary forum comment.
Hey, maybe you'd have blocked someone else, but she struck me as the most fishy person left. And I'm not the only one who felt that way, honestly.
