I didn't vote for you, Selenity, I just mentioned that I thought you might have actually had something against Lehki due to your being stuck on him yesterday, but you didn't.
This has been the hardest mafia to follow for me, because everyone is claiming left right and centre. So bizarre. I am honestly at a loss, if the town is going to put pressure on for mass claim, fine, whatever. I have nothing to hide.
But guys, this is not normal on the.. second? Third? day. Gah, losing track.
Avurekhos says, "Dylara's a PvP menace in my eyes, totes rekting face."
The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.

Yeah, people have been claiming for barely any reason, and now it's at a point where those of us who haven't claimed are starting to look weird. It's way too early for this!

I thought I had two votes on me? Maybe I'm misremembering. I am pretty tired too. I did remember you mentioning me at least.
No, I didn't have anything on Lehki aside from a gut feeling and him being a lurker. My gut feelings were proven wrong twice, which is why I said during day 2 twilight I wouldn't lead any lynch trains anymore. My gut's not reliable this game.

I wouldn't have claimed if Shaddus didn't imply I was Manteekan. Sigh.

...Selenity why did you claim. Was anyone pressuring you? Guys.
vote Ushaara to stop useless claiming
Hey, hey, hey. I don't know why you're blaming me for people claiming.
I challenged Selenity to explain how she survived the Soulless, given Othero's information which I thought made her a conversion candidate. I only asked if she was a First to try figure out the Weiwae/Othero confusion, that was it. Both of which could have been responded to without revealing her identity.
It was her own call to reveal as much as she did!
@portius what do you mean you target based on role names? That's the strangest claim I've heard yet.

I'm saying you're a cat with nine lives who should have died to shut up the dayphase, because it seems the only thing people want to contribute is information that helps scum. Which is frustrating.
@Selenity should not have claimed, and it's not really your fault she did.
@Shaddus though has prodded at me and @Yomoigu to claim things much earlier than we would have otherwise. And he's also outed his own abilities? For seemingly no reason at all? Dude. For why.
Basically, if we had just railroaded you ASAP as planned, Ushaara, none of this would have happened!

Lets end the day, we're going nowhere and people are mass claiming at a dangerous rate. Lynch Ushaara tonight, and lets look at Shaddus tomorrow for pushing so many claims.
I...am bothered by the idea that because the town collectively decided against Ushaara yesterday, and individuals made dumb claims today, Ushaara is somehow a reasonable choice as a result of choices he had no say in. Why? There's no evidence some of these claims, which are literally not connected to Ushaara, wouldn't have happened without him. Like Shaddus had nothing to do with Ushaara, but they did have something to do with Sylandra. Furthermore, that claim happened today, and the Day That Never Ended was yesterday. They are unrelated.
I maintain that I can't vote for Ushaara until there is some reasonable explanation as to why he'd claim a traitor, knowing Fain was also a traitor. It makes no sense. He'd be dead the moment a traitor died and flipped, and if he was a traitor cult, he would know that's inevitable.
It also bothers me that I answered Sylandra's question, and said the better question is how do you reconcile Ushaara's claim with the role you're accusing him of having, the answer was chorus of crickets.
Now we have Sylandra's power, which is some kind of immunity. We have two known town immunities. Do we think Town as three immunities. WE DO NOT.
Perhaps I was mistaken yesterday in debating Weiwae.

....well. All right then.
If you don't want to vote Ushaara, why do you think voting me is the way to go?
We just lost our protector. I'm a townie with some Night immunity. Is it a poor idea to keep around a townie who is difficult to kill?
At this point I'm really just a bit amused more than anything at how many people don't want to test a Traitor's alignment in the face of a Fain lynch. What would it take to lynch Ushaara, really?

Also it's not uncommon to have a variety of immunities, with some roles having Day immunities and some with Night. I'm the latter, and you move mentioned players who have the former. This isn't an indication of anything really.

Additionally....
Ushaara: I'm Malmydia. My ability involves killing who targets me.
Fyler: Only a townie would claim this on Day 2.
Sylandra: I'm Hoaracle. I have some Night immunity.
Fyler: Whoa whoa whoa buddy that's suspicious AF.
It's just funny to me. Is having a member of the Triumvirate around a problem for your role, Fyler? Have you been sipping Fainite lemonade?
I'm also playing exclusively by mobile today. Regarding your earlier point about Ushaara, I think Vivet's reticence in voting for him (and yours honestly) both make me more curious about what his role could reveal. If anything it at least tells us whether all Traitors start out in the same alignment. If he pops up Town then we know they don't. Aka cults are likely.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Interesting defense. I was kind of just fishing, but that reaction was unexpected.
I've stated from day 0 that buying into the idea that sides will line up with canon lore is a terrible assumption to make. In fact, it's something you agreed with. So now I'm wondering, if you agreed with me when I made the point earlier, why are you now making the argument that I should inherently be more suspicious of Ushaara than you based on that same argument? So far we have 2 pieces of a 20 game puzzle, I'm just not prepared to make the assumption it's that stupidly easy.
So, no, having a member of the triumvirate around is not a problem for me because I don't think the game is going to follow canon lore. As I've argued repeatedly. It'd have been like making the Haus of Edwards the mafia in my game. You would've figured it out in no time.
The subtle claim baiting is noted, however.
So I'll repeat my question, how do you reconcile Ushaara's claim with the role you believe he has. What was his motivation? Why claim that role if he knew Fain flipping, Fain who had no kill immunity, would also mean he would die?

Does it mean he will die though? Does it? Because today seems to be a repeat of yesterday with people hitting the breaks on his lynch train.
I dislike how much of this argument is caught up in "Ushaara wouldn't play that way if he was mafia." You know why? I just want certainty in what Traitors are or aren't. It's the crux of my wanting to lynch Ushaara. His potential motivations granted do make it more likely he is a miller but they don't confirm it. You're saying we should bank on the odds. I'm saying I want mod-confirmation.
I also don't think we miss much from Ushaara's power being removed from the equation as it is rather anti-town.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Kept Selenity alive, apparently, though that was incidental to my plan. I'd rather not explain everything I can do yet if it can be avoided, and am kind of annoyed at being outed with no provocation.
The game is kind of winding down. Would you rather I have left you up in the air as to whether you're town or not?
I don't exactly consider day 3 with 17 players remaining and at least two hostile factions (of which one is at full strength) to be winding down, but what's done is done. I still don't particularly feel as though revealing all our cards is the best course forward and would caution against doing it.

This is my overall feeling.
And I apologize if I'm getting too curt. I'm just tired of being painted as unreasonable for a stance I've had to defend for two dayphases, and am not alone in holding. I feel I've already said all this until I'm blue in the face. I am nothing if not consistent!

I'm tracker, not investigator. I also don't believe Sylandra's Hoaracle claim, though my power doesn't give me the role, only what they do that night. Why would Hoaracle disappear into the Northern Wastes, "into thin air"?
However, UNVOTE, VOTE:OTHERO. We still don't know who you are, your claim of "soulless knowledge" is pretty sketchy and really hasn't helped us very much, and you're pushing to lynch me despite my being proved town.

Your action is that reasonable argument. I spent yesterday making the same argument as you, you're making it now. By claiming traitor he's had people lining up to go "Actually the game doesn't follow canon so she can't be part of the traitor cult". You're saying he'd be dead the second a traitor cult flipped but he's not, you're arguing right now that he shouldn't be lynched. It's a fakeout.

I'll back off on the lynch but stop revealing important town roles.
Sorry, mispoke earlier when I claimed investigator.
