Normally, I wouldn't have an issue with letting you stay. However, in this case if we let you stay, someone else will randomly be killed off, and the odds of that being someone who is truly with us (unlike you, who can switch allegiances as you wish) is far too great to simply discount.
"That's eight votes for Synkarin... so that is a lynch. I'll spare you the savage detail of what happens next."
"Aww, but that's half the fun of a lynch."
"If you wanted violent descriptions of murder... why don't you go play Lusternia?"
"I don't like text games... anyway, I suppose I should properly announce to everyone who Synkarin was huh? Well, let's do it." --- Synkarin was
Buddha: You are the Buddha, the mortal
man who reached true enlightenment and ascended to a higher plane of
existence. But this... war has drawn you back. It caught your
attention for just a brief moment, and that's all it takes to undo
all that meditation. All those “oooohms”. Ah well, there's
nothing to do about it but to begin once more. Just hope that you can
keep these brutes from interfering with your pursuit for
enlightenment.
Role: You win by achieving
enlightenment. A complex power that requires distancing yourself from
the world through the loss of your power, your vote, and your ability
to speak. During night, you may choose to sacrifice your power, your
vote, or your speech, losing them for the rest of the game. You may
only make one sacrifice each night. On twilight the day after your
third and final sacrifice you win as long as you are still alive.
Cosmic truth: Once per day, you are
able to discern if a particular statement (forum post) is true or
false. The result will be revealed to you in private.

"So he really was the Buddha, huh. I suppose we should move on to the nightphase."
"Not... quite yet. Before you go to sleep, I promised you a story earlier on, didn't I? Have you ever heard the story of the Spider's thread?"
"No. Can't say I have? But what's brought on your desire to tell this story?"
"Ah, that's because the Buddha is a primary character. You see, one day while walking through a garden in heaven, the Buddha ended up gazing into hell. There he saw a wicked thief who had done a lot of evil in his life. However, he had one good deed to his name. Once, he chose not to step on a spider, and thus spared it."
"Wait, his good deed was to not kill one of those icky unholy abominations of spindly legs and creepy crawliness?"
"Yes. Buddhism maintains a belief in pacifism towards all things, all animals. Even spiders. I suppose you should be more surprised over how this is the only good deed someone can do... but more importantly, that was enough for the Buddha to take a strand of spider silk and lower it down into hell, providing a rope the thief could use to climb up and out of hell. Unfortunately, halfway up he noticed that others were following him as well, and he yelled down at them, telling them that this escape was for him, and him alone. And only then did the strand snap."
"Interesting... y'know. Earlier I was told that every belief is true. Is that story true? And more importantly... is it true here? Could they lower a strand of spider silk into hell and help someone out of it?"
"Perhaps they could... but where would they find a strand of spider silk? Either way... now. Now the day is over."

Well, good job. The contract you signed (and the hell you raised [literally]) was enough to keep you in your job, at least until the end of the season. Unfortunately, the boys upstairs have mandated not only does your replacement get to stay, but that you've to advertise for their sponsors each announcement.
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
"I couldn't sleep... I know killing is a sin, but do you think morality'll make an exception for corrupt corporate executives?"
"Can't say for sure, but I don't think you should worry. They end up in hell anyway. Why? And you still haven't told me what you're doing up so early."
"Studying the contract for any loopholes I can use. Can you believe that they're gonna have us do advertisements?"
"Wait... advertisements? So what, after watching gods try to kill each other, we're to tell them to chillax with a refreshingly ice cold pep."
"Don't. We don't have the rights. You could get us sued... I think. I honestly don't know copyright law as well as I should. Besides, we're not advertising sodas. They first want us to advertise, get this, juice-water. Apple juice thinned with waters from the Lethe."
"Oh my god! People are willing to pay a premium to have someone add water to your juice before you buy it?!"
"... yes. And also they're knowingly selling a product that is going to give those who drink it amnesia. Priorities kid."
"Oh... right. So anyway, I've got the night results. I'll just do them and leave the advertisements to you. It's been an interesting night, but for most, only one thing is clear. Tekora has disappeared, leaving only tattered clothes behind."

Merp. So, I don't think we can determine much from the state of the killed victim, unless the mafia/other guy from the first night decided not to kill anyone and the one from last night is a new killer. They're all looking different to me.

I got....what I can only describe as vaguely molested by a pig during day 2, and got a delayed message correction about it. That's all I got.

My bad Buddha, sorry about that. In my defense though, you were being veeeerrrry suspicious <_<
I was beset upon by a big cluster of spiders last night. Creepy gross spiders, but ineffectual ones.
If Tekora can speak to the dead at will and relay messages, does that mean that Buddha can still use his powers from the grave and have Tekora transmit them?
Also, when Buddha died, I absorbed a watered down version of his power. I can discern the truth of a post ONCE, though I can recharge this ability by participating in the elimination of a player with ill intent towards the Gods.
Why would you vote for me? Because of Tekora? You do realize that Synkarin confirmed everything I said. Anyone that tries to lynch me should be shot up towards the "most likely scum" list. You won't lynch me, I can save myself.

I need to go back and read what Synkarin confirmed, but I voted because Tekora. I went back and read and Tekora only FoS'd you, but never actually voted for you. Tekora's first message out of the grave is to lynch you, which before Tekora hadn't even aggressively pursued.
I also find the argument that "anyone that tries to lynch me should be shot up towards the "most likely scum" list, which would start with Tekora, a confirmed and dead God.
Tekora is also an idiot and is bitter that I point out how wrong she has been throughout the mafia games.

Well that's dramatic.
But I found it:
I used it today on Silvanus post clarifying his information - which is mostly true. The only lie was 'I am supposed to outlive some individuals who are trying to take my island from me.' I don't really think that's a big deal, everything else about not being a monster, and not being a god, but being a Legend is true.
Can you explain the lie "I am supposed to outlive some individuals who are trying to take my island from me?"
I'm a survivor. I have to outlive everyone. Anyone that tries to kill me is taking my island. I disagree with it being a lie and would call shenanigans on Kiradawea but whatever, my role is mirror of Luce's except for the ability to protect myself as opposed to Luce's.

:-?
Something is weird, but more importantly I am interested in the value a survivor role brings the town. Especially one we can't kill. It's basically a swing vote, and will bite us in the ass if the monsters get the upper hand.
To be fair, I'd say that's a lie too. You're not trying to outlive "some individuals who are trying to take your island from you", you're trying to survive through the rebellion. It isn't on the individual stage, really.
Yeah. For the time being, I'd rather not vote for Silvanus. In the event of a similar situation to last day's ending, then he'd be a likely target, but for now, we don't really have anything to gain by killing him. Better to try to ferret out the rebels.

I would disagree completely. I am not a God nor a Monster, I am a Legend. Your rebellion and fight means nothing, only surviving on my island.

That only reinforces my point, really... You're not trying to outlive "some individuals", you're just trying to survive. There's nothing individual about it.
