If you enter "lua showColors()" into the command line you'll see the built-in colours. You can actually add more of your own and hecho() lets you use hexadecimal but both of these are a bit more involved.

You could do something like this...

local x = math.random(255)

local y = math.random(255)

local z = math.random(255)

decho("<"..x..","..y..","..z..">test")

Alternatively, make a table of them and select from it using t[math.random(1, #t)]. Randomly selecting RGB will often read to unreadable colours.
