Death really should reset that; I mean how convincing can you be to someone if you just got your neck converted into a gushing fountain right infront of them?

He was impressed with her focus and dedication to her cause, even going so far as to completely the savage barbarian hacking at her and even ignoring death itself in service to the Collective.
Death should also stop nightsweats, poison, and shadow whatsit. Just saying.

Yeah I noticed that. Was wondering why the hell they hit after death, I expected it to be a complete reset of life and not "Oh hey you're back, take this damage, that bleed and that affliction."
Vitae's already got enough drawbacks as is without instantly taking all the crap from the previous hit.

I think it's due to the mechanics of warrior attacks. The affliction goes through, then the damage (and effects based on that), then the poisons. So the behead went in, vitae triggered on that, then the other stuff went in.
I was under the impression that warrior afflictions are always given after the wound/damage. That's how the devastating first-assault-tendons were possible. Get a katana pimped out enough, and your first assault would hit the target with enough wounds that you had the chance to tendon him.

I think it's wounds -> affliction -> damage -> poison. I'm assuming damage after affliction based on the shadow/nightsweats in the quote.
Well, that makes more sense, but hrm, not sure if that's entirely correct either. If that's the case, it will mean that a monk action that gives prones (like the kata pinchnerve) will add the prone damage modifier to the hit that proc'd the paralysis. I can't remember if I ever noticed that. Well, if it's true, I'll probably want to look into doing some re-optimization of my aff combos again. >.>

I think you're forgetting that village influencing is org based and not individual based. I can get that your gut would tell you it should reset, but really it shouldn't.
It's not even org based. You can influence someone so that they're JUST ABOUT to decide that Org x is the very best place to be.... and someone from Org y, a totally different, opposed org, can pop in and get the last hit. Suddenly, the mob who was about to pick org x, because of their efforts to convince that villager totally changes their mind and decides at the last second that org y is best.

Except that Org Y has to divert first, which means that the mob's ego is restored heavily.

Inked into the back is a clear painting of two divine. One, recumbent on
a dais of samite-covered marble, is covered in horrific wounds. The
other, as handsome as the first and seemingly younger, leans over the
first god and presses Their lips together in one last kiss. Both forms
seem indistinct, the colours seeming to bleed into one another and
making it hard to distinguish where one god ends and another god begins.
Underneath in gilded letters are the words, "I Love You".
