Yeah it's a bit frustrating we can't see the Pokemon afterwards, or detailed explanations of powers. In a way it's good though. Prevents anyone from getting too OP by getting a Pokemon too suited to them. Cough, the mafia, cough.
I agree with everything that Allyrianne is saying except that the Champion killed Alary. I think the mod would make it clear if they killed someone for being inactive. Especially since Makaela got replaced; why not find a replacement for Alary? I dunno, this seems like something the mod would clarify to help stop confusion.
If Othero is right and was targeted that doesn't surprise me at all. Watcher is an extremely powerful town ability and screwed over the mafia in the Shakespeare game. Good on whoever rescued him. This however means there are possibly still 4 active killers at night, yikes.
I was taken from my cabin last night, so I have nothing to share about being targeted or not. (Aura only works if I'm in close proximity to who targeted me.) Which is to say I, and my Pokemon, were both jailed.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
@Sylandra: A kidnapping is crazy. Do you know how you were taken, was is kind of a snatch and grab or?
The apple is cold, crisp, and sour as the juices fill your mouth. As you consume the fruit, you glimpse, for a moment, a massive, shadowy figure, Her snow-white hair framing a perfect, icy-eyed visage. Beneath you, a vast, perfect web of silken strands lies - and, for a moment, you realize that you too are part of it, weaver and strand both - and home.

Haha it wasn't a kidnapping. It was more like being escorted. It was benign though. I had a sense of safety and security etc.

@Salome: Jailer is a pretty standard power actually. It makes it so the target can't act, but also can't be targeted during the night
I did not appear to have anybody target me tonight, and was able use my power and my pokemon's, though didn't learn anything super useful that I want to reveal just yet.
I had a very quiet night, nothing and no one bothered me. I did not leave my room/cabin/whatever we're all in for the night.
Avurekhos says, "Dylara's a PvP menace in my eyes, totes rekting face."
The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.
Three, possibly four active kill effects right now? Seems... kinda excessive, after we got Kilee (yay!) Not sure I buy Othero getting lucky with a doctor... don't understand why someone would want him saved.
We can probably dredge up a killer of some sort by going down a list of everyone who expressed frustration with Rolsand. That does look like two separate sources of death for him. Though I suspect one is a big hit.
Someone attempted to strangle me with the cord of a hair dryer that was shaped like a Jolteon, apparently, so if we have a Hygiene Accessories Killer then that was them?

We already have Othero confirmed as a Watcher, so what are you implying, if it wasn't a doctor that saved him?

@Thul: I just said that Watcher is a really powerful town ability. Caught Synkarin the Reign game and Luce and Celina and Tremula in the Shakespeare game. You can literally catch a murderer red handed. It's way easier to guess a murder target than to guess a murderer, generally speaking.

Ha, getting Kilee right on Day 1 means my instincts will likely be way off for the remainder of the game..
I had a pokemon protector last night, but wasn't attacked, so while I appreciate the thought behind the protection, it turned out to be unnecessary.
Two protectors then?!
This game.
Holy crap. This game. I seriously don't know how to keep up with all of that.
This means we got crazy lucky with that god damn earthquake on night one. Like seriously crazy lucky.

@Vivet wait there was another killer that went after you last night? What the hell.
I simply don't believe there's this many killers active right now. -_-
That said... yeah, both Othero and Krackenor have claimed the sweetest abilities on the board right now, so I'll concede that he could have been targeted for both kill and protect.

The more we learn about what powers we're looking at in this game, the more I'm thinking this was probably playing over the train's speakers on night one:
There was a 3rd kill attempt last night. Someone stabbed me in the back but I was rescued and bandaged
Is it possible that someone could have the chance to kill twice in one night? Two backstabbers? Or maybe a Pokemon can use Agility to give a trainer two actions in one night?
Either way, yikes.
OH cruel Fate, when wilt thou weary be?
When satisfied with tormenting me?
What have I e'er designed, but thou hast crost?
All that I wished to gain by thee, I've lost:
From my first infancy, thy spite thou'st shown
and from my cradle, I've thy malice known...

Well, I got nothing two nights running, though I apparently was visited by a pokemon that was kind enough to leave me protected from this heat. Unless it wasn't a pokemon.
I sent my pokemon at Rolsand's sandshrew last night. The pokepower prevents it from acting on this turn. I decided that I did not trust that power to get used responsibly and wanted to take it out for a while. I also did not completely trust Rolsand's claim.
The things I saw last night after doing so are:
-My pokemon succeeds in its attack.
-A water-type was also attacking it, and it knocked the sandshrew out. I'm not sure if knocked out is the same as dead in this context or not.
-One person was with Rolsand. I guess there might have been more visitors that I missed, but I'm prepared to take that as evidence that there was only one killer who did both bludgeoning and poisoning. ---I'm assuming a vigilante and not a mafia or serial killer because I can't see anyone other than town having a motive for Rolsand. Mafia probably doesn't want to waste a kill on a probable third party that's likely to get himself lynched. A serial killer would probably also want someone who was less likely to get lynched.
Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.
Wait, Vivet was attacked too? How many killers are we up to then? Four confirmed attacks in one night even after Kilee was taken out? I'm not so sure we'll be making it to Day 10 after all :-S

So... why Vivet, then.
Because I'm Vivet. Some people seem to think I'm pretty good, so it might have been a long-term forums player who was acknowledging they weren't on my side and didn't want me lurking around.
Either way, I'm actually glad it happened. I felt twitchy and activated a limited use power last night, and it did not go to waste.

@Portius I can think of a reason to kill Rolsand while being a mafia. To frame the people in the Rolsand vote train. After all, he had some very vocal opponents! (I will concede it would be a very nice vigilante kill use however.)

Or I was jailed. I think I might have been jailed since I didn't get any message about actually acting on Rolsand.
I can't tell. Protected or jailed is what the message came across as. Some kind of "burning V" hit me in the chest and I was certain I'd survive the night.

Last night I had a visit from our resident socialite who played with my Pokemon in earnest. Otherwise my night was uninteresting.

Did Krackenor claim? I missed that.
